I originally didn't like your casting at GOM and always thought your german casting was way better, but I have to say your cast of Code A with Moletrap was really funny and good. You guys seem to get along really well now and have some good synergy. I always felt like you didn't really respect eachother too much in the early code A casts last year, talking over eachother, pointing out small mistakes in the other guys casting, but now you both have improved alot and are definitely my favorite Code A casting team. I never really liked moletrap either, but he has kinda grown on me, actually like the ligh-hearted jokes now and his understanding of the game has improved alot aswell (you seem to understand the game really well anyway Khaldor, except TvT and TvP, I really felt like your understanding of the matchup is a bit lackluster when watching your Code A casts, but that's just a minor thing to improve, no major complaint). Keep doing what you guys are doing, it's great!
P.S: In the TvP game 2 days ago, the terran in base expanded and was going for early medivac tech whereas the protoss (was it squirtle!? I'm not sure). Anyway, the protoss only had gateway units and then expanded way after the terran and then went DT tech, the protoss was able to mine from the natural earlier, but he had no tech except DT tech which did abspolutely nothing. he literally had only gateway tech vs. marine marauder with stim and medivacs. In such a situation the protoss is really far behind, when there are medivacs out and stim and the protoss has no splash the terran is actually ahead most of the times, there are of course exceptions, when the protoss has charge and lots of units with 1-1 upgrades, where the terran is not ahead, but that wasn't the case in this game. You guys however seemed to think that it was even or the protoss was slightly ahead. Needless to say that he stood no chance in the battle and it was pretty clear to me and my friends that the terran was going to win once he had medivacs out and you guys were almost a little bit surprised. Just thought I'd point that out for you guys, so that in future casts you know MMM+Medivac > gateway units without any splash damage whatsoever.
But anyway, thumbs up and please don't think I'm hating on you, I love your casting, just wanna help you guys (moletrap and you) improve in the T and P matchups (since you both play Zerg). |

the vocab can indeed get better, but I don't mind it too much. Personally I am enjoying your cast quite a lot, the Code A is now a lot better with you in it
Keep up with the good work |

I'm liking the Khaldor/Moletrap combo. It's a comedy classic, with Khaldor being the straight-man and Moletrap being more of a clownesque buffoon (no offense meant) with the weird stories and strange jokes.
Works quite well :D |

I have only ever watched your casting for GSL, but I did not enjoy it very much. Maybe it was just a couple of unlucky games i watched, but many of the strategic things you said were just dead wrong. Also you yell a whole lot, and (not that you can do much about it) i don't find your accent very good..
I should maybe give your stream a shot once I notice it online sometime.. But my first impression of your GSL casting wasn't all that great. |

I have one complaint. Please please please try to get this in your head:
Colossus = singular Colossi (or even Colossuses) = plural
e.g. "HE'S GOT ONLY ONE COLOSSI LEFT!!" always makes me cringe (and sometimes desire to kick a puppy).Last edit: 2012-03-02 01:52:02 |

Maybe it's just me but I was watching the Nestea Vs Keen games from last night and noticed that both Khaldor and Wolf sounded very unenthusiastic. Dare I say they actually sounded bored? Completely monotone the whole way and even during the action there was little hype.
If I were a casual SC2 spectator that cast would have made me think that this game is dull with no potential for excitement or explosive action. I mean if the people who get paid to make it entertaining are bored, how are the spectators supposed to get excited?
At least pretend you're enjoying the casts if you have to~Last edit: 2012-03-02 02:25:44 |

I somehow like your casts but there is one thing that really annoys me. Once i noticed it i couldn't stop noticing it. Here is the thing: 1) Take a sample of all ur casts, say 10 2) Take pen and paper 3) Count times of each phrase being said * "in order to be able to" * "doesn't make any sense at all" * "significant" 4) Do the obvious statistics. Which would lead me to the last point. The first two phrases are perfectly correct, you just happen to use them so often. The use of the word "significant" doesn't seem correct to me. Every time someone loses more units than anyone else suddenly something is significant. This is not only about you, it's more or less going through the complete casters-groups and someone started it without knowing about the size of the avalanche it started. There is no siginficant influence without a statistical test.
Anyways, other than that: keep going,
Grüße aus Oldenburg.

Your casting is very good and I really like most of it. I have not seen very much of you yet but from what I've seen you capitalize on mistakes for too long in my opinion. Sometimes you still talk about mistakes from 10 minutes ago even though you already talked about and analyzed them thoroughly. And because of this you neglect the things at hand.
So that is definitely something you could improve. I can't think of anything other than that. Keep up the good work! |

Hey Khaldor, just wanted to say that the more I've listened to you cast over the past couple of months, the more it's grown on me. I am not putting it past the fact that you might just be improving steadily as well, but I've discussed with my friends how wonderful of a blend of insight you have with articulation for what is happening at any moment in the game, and you have a very enjoyable way of building excitement for a match.
I'm definitely one of those Tastosis fanboy's who used to look at anything that didn't have them casting it and think "meh, not what it could be", but people like you, your fellow Code A casters Moletrap and Wolf, Cats Pajamas, and Doa have gotten me out of my ignorant bubble. Great job, and good luck. |

Back in the days of War Craft 3 I didn´t like your casting at all... But since you started with Star Craft 2 I think your casting improved and I like your english casting way more than your german, although I´m german. =/ To be honest, at the Start of SC2 I didn´t watch you cast at all, since I only had the impression of your WC3 casts.Over the time I started listening to your casts, even when I thought they aren´t really good. However, I kept listening to your casts and in my opinion you have improved a lot. You should keep improving and stay with GOM.
So keep on casting and improving until you´re the best caster on this planet! |
