Apologies: I'm sorry I do not have FXO_Gumiho's interview. =( The website I did the translation from did not have it, and the person who requested this wanted the ST_Bomber interview.
Interview
ST_Bomber
Q: How does it feel like to qualify for Code S five seasons in a row? ST_Bomber: All this while I've never really been able to obtain any really decent results, so I'm not exactly very happy. No special feelings (laughs). I feel that merely just remaining in Code S is not particularly meaningful for a professional gamer.
Q: A lot of people are saying that your form has dropped quite a lot ST_Bomber: I personally feel that I've been in a slump too. Perhaps some people might think that I am just making excuses for myself, but I still have to say that I've had a severe lack of practice time due to playing in too many overseas tournaments and showmatches.
Q: How did you prepare for this up and down matches? ST_Bomber: I personally think my practice time is really too little, so I tried my best to increase the amount of practice. I mainly practised on battlenet (T/N: Ladder I guess?). Even though I've improved slightly, but it can't compare to how I used to play. At the very least, I would have to easily achieve rank 1 on battlenet (T/N: Probably ladder) before I would say I've found my form back.
Q: You won all 4 games in your up and down matches. Can we say that you've found your form back based on that? ST_Bomber: On the whole, I can't say that was my best performance. Luck played a big part in the that. My opponents all made many errors that cost them the game.
Q: Which was the hardest game you played today? ST_Bomber: I don't think there was a particularly hard game.
Q: The tactic you used against Tassadar, where you used your factory to block the road was a very creative idea. ST_Bomber: While I was dropping, I realised that the factory was there, so I just landed it. I was just that lucky today (laughs).
Q: Are the rise of players such as MVP and MMA spurring you on? ST_Bomber: When my results are not good, I will get the feeling that there are many flaws in my play. I've learnt a lot from them. I think that in the following year, I should be able to get better results from my improved skills. When I see other Terrans other than me doing well, that definitely spurs me on. Oh. Except MVP. He is really too good. He's like a hurdle I cannot overcome (laughs).
Q: What are your goals in Code S next year? ST_Bomber: If I can, I really wish to win the tournament. However, for now, we'll just set the first goal as making it into top 8. After making it into top 8, we can then think about how to get into the finals.
Q: Are there any players you want to face up against in Code S next year? ST_Bomber: I am most confident in my TvZ and TvP, but I still find it really difficult to play in the mirror matchup. Ever since mech play was introduced into TvT, it's been really difficult to play it. I am confident of winning against any Zerg or Protoss. Moreover, from a spectator's point of view, I think that the TvT matchup is slightly less interesting (laughs).
Q: Anything you wish to add to this int Thanks erview? ST_Bomber: I want to thank the players who practised with me, and I also want to thank our sponsors. I have something to say to foreign fans too. Destiny has arrived at the teamhouse and we are thinking of streaming am event match sooner or later, so we hope people will watch. I'll announce a definite time in the future. __________________________________________________________________________________ Hope you like it =) Thank you Lixler!

Ah, the rule #1 for terran, the except MVP rule...
|
thanks for translations really love to read them
|
Thank you for the translation! I was looking forward to this one.
I think you can go ahead and unspoil the name of the player, it's been quite awhile since the game was played and people might be more inclined to read if they know it's a Bomber interview.
|
Damn Bomber, pulling off a sick pose while plugging the sponsors at the same time.

Haha I'll leave it up to the mods if want to change the title to maybe something like "Interview with Bomber after Up/Down matches" coz I can't change that. As for the article itself, shall see what I can do coz my com is off for the night lol. Posting on a smartphone.
Edit: Oh wow the liquid mobile site is amazing. I'm sorry if anyone is spoiled by this. If mods think the spoilers should be there, I'm sorry!

Huk's lifetime achievement and something almost all foreigners can't get. And then people think our scene is catching up lol.

With that hairstyle, glasses and half-smirk, he's starting to look more like Nal_Ra.
Anyway, I hope to see him in top form again. It's a shame his weakest MU is the most common one.
|
He used to show the best play i ever seen at that point of time. And just watching his stream, his TvT is still obviously very good even though it may not be on MVPs standard. I think once he figures how mech or how to play against mech, he will be a contender for the GSL title again.

Not a fan of Bomber but it's nice to see him doing well again. Aside from his BM, I liked his aggressive and deadly play-style.

Bomber BM? lol. If you're referring to dropping mules then pretty much 50% of Korean Terrans are BM.

Oh hey I don't know if you want to edit this in, but the original Korean interview has a little thing at the bottom that isn't in the Chinese one.
해외 팬들에게도 하고 싶은 말이 있다. 숙소에 데스티니 선수가 와있는데 조만간 이벤트전을 스트리밍할 생각이니 많은 관심바란다. 정확한 시간은 추후에 공지하겠다. "I have something to say to foreign fans too. Also, thanks for translating~

|
manner mules and /dance spam is the reason why his stream is so entertaining, he's one of the few koreans who isnt afraid to show some personality thats why bomber always was my favourite terran.
|
Thanks for the translation! Bomber's awesome, my favorite Terran to watch play. Hope to see some great results in Code S soon!

Ahhh thank you! That would be why Bomber asked us if his interview had been translated yet.
Bomber hopes people will watch - it's Destiny vs. Bomber, of course people will watch. ;D

Bomer will do big things in 2012

So glad that Code S caliber players are starting to realize the audience they can capture while streaming. Bomber's a treat to watch, with his bold showmanship.
