I'm going to go have a tooth pulled on Friday most likely. My dentist says that if I get one more bad toothache after he puts a cap on the tooth (which is currently broken; I'm kind of mid-root canal here), he's going to have to just pull it.

...Since I've gotten a bad toothache every single time he's capped the tooth, I'm pretty sure this time won't be any better.

fml, you seriously can't eat solid food for a while after having a tooth pulled?

Ah man that sucks, mine was a wisdom tooth so it was useless anyway and is apparently pulled by default at the first sign of trouble. I'd take pulling a tooth before drilling or rootfill any friggin day of the week.

I've gone to the dentist about 8 times in the last two months for this fucking tooth. My dentist just sits there scraping away at the inside for 30 minutes and then puts a cap on it and tells me to go home.

Honestly, Japanese dental clinics are just huge scams. There are too many dentists in Japan so the only way for them to make money (as the supply is far greater than the demand) is to stretch simple procedures out over several visits so they can leech money from the insurance system/patient's wallet.

Anyway, I'm ranting. You really can't eat solid foods for a while after having a tooth pulled? fml...

It's not any different in the states. It might actually be worse here. I go to my dentist for regular cleaning. Dental hygienist scrapes and brushes my teeth for about 20min. Dentist comes by and looks at my teeth for 3 minutes at most. 3min checkup costs like 60-70% more than the clean lol.

so my cut is going pretty well. down at 83kg (down from 88-89 like 2 months ago) and I think i'm starting to see some abs still got quite some stubborn belly fat and my legs are still huge, so i'm guessing i'm at like 16-17% bf.
my lifts are still doing "ok" although I have no energy at all for more than 1 heavy set so i'm doing it RPT style

squat is at 142.5x3, front squat 125x2 (up from 122.5x3 last week) and I just deadlifted 190x2 (down from 190x3 two weeks ago) and 170x4. power clean 90x3x5 (five sets, 3 reps). all weights in kg
got exams coming up next week so I probably wont lift much that week. and I decided to take a complete break from any sort of upper body work for a month or so to see if that helps my left arm to finally get better so I can maybe bench again this year!
its kinda hard to workout three times a week without any upper body work though im sure if my legs could speak the would yell at me all day long

I was wondering why your last few workouts were all legs. Keep up the good work on the cut

Alright, here's me after 4 months of cutting, from 102kg to 90kg:
+ Show Spoiler +
Shit quality, apparently even the camera on my phone is beyond my competence. Also, I think I may have deleted my "before" images when I got my SSD and reinstalled, but neway.

Where would you put me in terms of bodyfat % and where do you think I should go now? I'd put myself at around 20% bf and with pretty shoddy muscle (really struggling lately trying to maintain my lifts), but I don't know if it would be better to keep cutting or to bulk and then cut again. What do you think?

edit: oh yeah, I'm 28 years old, 6"5' or 186cm long. And I weigh 90kg.

6'5 is 195cm, 186cm would be in between 6'1 and 6'2.

I don't think you need to cut anymore, you look slim. I personally would maintain that weight and try to get more muscular by getting stronger. Obviously, if you want them visible abs, you have to cut some more. But as I said, you look slim enough and just need some bigger muscles in my opinion.

Yeah that height thing threw me off too, Malinor is right. I'm going to guess it's because he uses the num pad and the 2 is below the 5.

Lol no I just didn't do the math right, I'm 6'1-ish. I do want visible abs, but not at the expense of being little-girl-weak and stick-thin.

I guess then you could lose another couple of kilograms. This is just my personal observations but guys with abs that weigh less than their bw-100 (in your case that would be 86kg) tend to be just thin and not very strong. Exceptions are of course real athletes like sprinters or gymnasts, but that is a whole other level. Judging from that one picture. I think that you definitely still need to add a lot of muscle. Though the picture is hardly a full body shot, so I cannot be sure.

Since I am already talking, just wanted to share this little bit of related information: During the last eight weeks, I lost 3,5cm on my waist and 3cm on my hips, which are pretty much in line what I am normally using in that timeframe. However, in the same time I have not lost anything on my chest, if at all I gained a cm there.
Since I performed my first ever chin-up in march, the last 8 weeks are basically the first time where I could do those for a decent amount of volume (I am now at 5 Chin-ups PR). Also, I am doing weighted dips since 6weeks or something. Those exercises seem to have build some strength and mass in my upper body that I did never experience before. Since I am always losing weight, normally my frame is just shrinking all the time, and this was the first time that I actually gained something while losing weight (and not a single bench press was performed during that time). I also got way stronger on DB-Rows without really doing them. Long story short, these exercises have proven to be amazingly effective for me.
I have a rep scheme for weighted dips (3x5 SS-style), but I do Chin-Ups and Pull-Ups basically whenever I feel like it. And since I have the policy to not pass a pull-up bar without doing those, go figure. Would be different though if I could do them weighted already.
So just some report from me, since I saw Osmoses picture and thought his chest/shoulder girdle could definitely be a bit bigger at 90kg

Hey, I love my abs. When you're small and never get big even if you gain a few pounds, abs are great for looking ripped.

I'm actually not a fan of 6 packs. I actually think it looks better to be carrying a bit more fat.

For example I think this:

Looks better than being like this:

I tried to pick two which had similar muscle. I suppose it's probably not that large a difference in fat but I just think the second is too far.

I wouldn't want to look like either of those. And the first one has pretty reasonably clear ab definition too, the pose just makes it less visible.

I deleted the * with a footnote that it was an opinion xD. This point in my life is the closest I've ever been to not having abs so it's all about where you come from... grass is greener etc. Abs are very nice but if you don't have good proportions it shouldn't be your focus is more what I meant by "overrated"

I'm a bit on the slender side, but if I didn't have the definition I do on the mass I have got, I'd look like a 98 pound weakling, instead of at least being noticed. I think a lot of it has to do with overall build. On someone bigger, not having the definition in the abs doesn't matter as much, because the arms, neck, and back can still show enough muscle for the aesthetic side of things. If you're small, you NEED the ripped look to not just look like a bookworm.
