Wow, didn't see this coming at all, hope SK is going to acquire more players than MC, they could really become something great, would really like to see them as a strong team who can do team leagues as well..
Best of luck to all parties involved, I think this can be a "good" move! |

What happened?

Would actually love this. Prime is not the right place for MarineKing.
What makes you think Coca will go to SK ? I'm pretty sure he has so much respect for Boxer and he is so honored to be a part of SlayerS that he will stick to SlayerS for a very long time. |

I agree Puma ended up pretty well financially and you can't say it hurt his GSL performance because he never did well there. I still want to see a Korean switching to a foreign team and stay consistent in Code S before I think this is anything but an awful idea.
I think from a financial and exposure point of view, yes, Puma's decision to move to EG was very smart. However, Puma could've become a top Terran in Korea if he probably stayed with TSL or moved to another Korean team IMO. I know he's staying with Slayers right now so he's getting good practice but still, if he consistently had Korean training from the start, he might very well be in Code S right now. What I'm afraid of is that MC will suffer from the same thing, and he will not be able to keep up with the Korean level of play and he'll just be relegated to a Korean who only owns in foreigner events, and will just be another Korean in GSL or any other Korean tournaments. Hope I'm wrong though. |

| I hope this means SK are going to have an actual full time SC2 division now, with potential team house and everything. If not, it's a terrible move for MC, at least skill wise. Money wise, he's probably a lot better off. |

I think he means a team having the revenue to create a line up of very popular players |

But really, unless SK signs more good players, i dont see this work out well for both, may be short-term yes, but in long-term MC without his teammates will not be able to keep up with the other players and fade out, and SK just lose their money. p/s: still a huge fan of MC so i hope things work out well for him just so sad to see him left oGs. to me oGs=MC, MC=oGs may be it just the same feeling when HuK left TL
He gets way more money right now than when he was in the partnership thing. And this partnership was not a good thing for SK anyway, honestly even when they came in foreign events who considered NaDa and MC SK ? Even the casters often forgot to mention oGs.SK
ya, i also think that may be the reason. hope MC will be as beastly. but SK will need to sign more players anyway, i dont see 1 man team work out well in long run

GL to MC and Sk, whatever the future is.
MC is one of the hottest players you can have on your team, there are not many players who can give your sponsors more exposure. MC is a big name in the scene, one of the most interesting players, he is very skilled, lots of fans, he always has the attention everywhere he goes.
Why would they care about oGs? |

There will no longer be a deal between SK and oGs.
Does that mean, that Nada is no longer with SK?Last edit: 2012-01-14 01:47:57 |
