Yup, that's what happened to SK's Korean players back in WC3. Sweet, Soju, Remind, etc. I hope that MC doesn't hold faith in them and leaves ASAP if they ever start delaying payment.
Otoh, Lyn's never had any problems with them as far as I know.

Um no that's not a fair comparison at all. Yes MVP is the best and he is better than MC, but MC is still the best Protoss in the world and advanced from a group of death in Code S. Saying he's "not even close to MVPs level" is silly, he's still a 2 time GSL champion.
Fine, he's the best protoss. But still he is levels behind MVP, again with the BW comparison. Bisu is tehe best protoss but many would agree he's miles behind flash.
Last time MC and MVP played at MLG Providence, MC won, twice IIRC
Fuck, wow. How are people THIS selective in their memory when defending MC? At the exact same damn tournament, on that exact day, MVP beat MC 4-2. |

Lol. I agree, how difficult is it to check TLPD anyways? MVP 3 - 0 MC the 2nd time they played, taking the whole set 4 - 2, remember that correctly.

Uhhhhh, i dont think this is good news at all. This is a terrible deal for MC. Now he doesnt have a place to train. There is no way in hell he will improve at anywhere near the same level practicing by himself instead of in the house.
He took the money but now he will be a worse player in the future. I dont understand how companies like SK can invest in a player without providing some practice clause that allows him to keep up his practice. Its a dying investment as he will perform worse and worse as time goes on.
Not to mention , now he doesnt get to play in the Gom team league. Terrible deal.
How could either party be foolish enough to except this deal, i mean maybe it makes sense for SK as they get a bunch of publicity and mc will perform reasonably well over the next 6 months and then within a year they can lower his contract substantially based on performance (which i have no doubt in my mind his performance will get worse, if they do not provide him with a korean training house to practice in)Last edit: 2012-01-14 11:37:18 |

Too many MC haters lmao. So MC doesn't deserve the Bisu/Stork comparison but MVP deserves Flash? lol double standard. GSL Nov, GSL December, MLG prov, Blizzcup. All major tournaments that MVP did not win. Selective memory? It seems most MVP fanboys live around MLG anaheim to the last GSL MVP won. With him nearly being eliminated by MC on both WCG and AOL2 lol.
This topic is about MC anyway don't know why haters have to derail so much. There will come a team when MVP cant cheese his way to victory against protoss and thats when ya'll should start raging. |
