installed steam today after over six months to buy CS:GO and found out that I have Dota 2 added to my account.
Joined one co-op vs computer game to check it actually works and it did.
I wonder how much time I had access and didn't know :\
I recommend you all to check from time to time as I don't remember getting an email about this.

Just want to post this in case it applies to more people than just me:
I wanted to know when the release date was so I checked the steam store for it, and it said that I already owned the game. It didnt show up in my library before this, but I am downloading it now. So, if you dont have a key then check the store and see if it says you already have the game.
EDIT: Nevermind, thats the spectator only thing. But you can buy an invite key for $30, and you get a key to gift too.Last edit: 2012-08-26 14:48:59 |

I jsut came back from holydays and checked if dota 2 was released and they said I got the game but I can't find informations about official release. It's weird but I'm downloading it.

Hi guys. I dont know if this is TL legal but i just played a couple of games of Dota2 after playing first dota 1 then HoN and i absolutely loved it. Would love to get a key so i can play from home and not only at a netcafe :/ Cheers!

The amount of greed is just fucking horrible, i just got my hands on 3 keys, took one for myself and came back here to offer people.
I checked the list and messaged people, some already got their key. One person, won't be named, replied back and asked for a key, when i checked his Dota account, it showed that he already had it, i asked him again and he said, "oh yeah i have it". Then why would you ask for it again? SCUM of the earth. Anyway, if you'r giving out keys on steam, just make sure they DONT have the game. |

That's why you PM Hassybaby so that this doesn't happen. He should have a clearer idea if they already have keys. |
