I thought spa was one of the most boring gps of the year? no?
Q3 looks a bit of a joke, they need to sort out these "tactics" in Q3, dunno how though |

Bit of a masterclass out there today from Hamilton, huge congratulations for Maldonado also. It is awesome to see a competitive Williams after so many years.
Spa is my favourite track and certainly not boring. |

Lewis Q disqualified because he ran out of fuel in the end, starts from P24 tomorrow And, sorry, but that's just utter bullshit. If the stewards REALLY have to deem it necessary to penalize him, which, in my eyes, is really questionable in the first place, then they still could just use a more reasonable and more common "penalty", like +5 positions. But even that would be too harsh. Now he starts from behind Karthikeyan, who even FAILED to qualify within the 107% but still got the OK from the FIA. It's just ridiculous, sorry, this is nonsense.
Edit: I feel like namecalling is necessary. The stewards in question are: Tom Kristensen, former Danish F1 driver, now endurance racing for AUDI Hans-Gerd Ennser, some Bavarian dude from the German automobile association Radovan Novak, some Czech dude from the Czech automobile association

wtf conspiracy? blaming stewards? srsly guys? Why don't you blame McLaren for another BIG fail instead? You dont want to get punishment - dont break the rules. Quite obvious for meLast edit: 2012-05-13 04:00:47 |

| McLaren's own damn fault. Next time put enough fuel to the car, simple as that. |

| There are two sides. 1) McLaren should've put more fuel in the car so it's their own fault. or 2) bear in mind that ''Gary Anderson, BBC F1 technical analyst- "The fuel rig guy put the rig on, but he had the handle set to drain fuel. He discovered his mistake and switched it to put fuel in the car. But as a result he didn't put as much fuel in it as he should have.'' so it wasn't Hamiltons fault and the 2 or 3 seconds of extra fuel that needed to be put in would not have harmed a .5 second pole. I think it's stupid on both counts. |

| So annoying, Mclaren just have started this season so fucking badly it's unreal! Such a professional outfit making such amateur mistakes! So sad for Lewis but i guess with the weight being so low it would of been the reason he smashed the pole position time i don't know. |

heh, poor lewis can't catch a break x_x
Lotus looks like they are in awesome position for this race, especially if the Ferrrari still retains some of the instability on soft tires (Pat Fry: “The car balance seems to be better on the hards than the softs ") it should be fairly easy for the Lotii to make it into the lead. I don't really see Maldonado doing too well in the race itself, and even if he does manage to hold the lead i'm just going to take a blind guess and say that he'll lose too much time in the pits compared to Lotus/Red Bull/Ferrari.
Hopefully schumi doesn't get struck by bad luck more ;-; |

Yet again ridiculous punishments that don't fit the crime. Ok so a McClaren guys makes a mistake and has the hose on the wrong setting so he takes fuel out instead of putting it in and he can't work out on the spot how much fuel to put in. He gets it wrong and under fuels the car slightly.
Why does Lewis now start at the BACK of the whole grid? At least put him 10th as if he didn't take part in Q3. It's just a crazy decision.

| It is like Rooney getting sent off for doing a foul throw in, another bullshit punishment. What is the point of watching the race now seriously. I'd find it so difficult as Lewis to get back in that car tomorrow, he didn't deserve it. After he got that dominating pole and looked so happy I was proud of him, now.. I don't blame him for whatever kind of foul mood he is in tomorrow. Complete bullshit. |

Lewis can't stay at McLaren if these ridiculas amature hour mistakes contiune... its a total and utter joke.
In the closest season in decades, McLaren finally have one of the fastest cars on track and they are doing every single thing in there power to totally fuck up Lewis and Jenson's season. Back to back to back appauling pit stops twice runing Lewis's race and runing Jenson's and now this utter joke.
Total an utter abject dissapointment, finally a race that could be exciting with the top teams at the top and red bull failing to get to grips with there new car ruined. I'd put my odd's on Grosjean taking his first win tomorrow with Alonso on the podium too. Let's hope it rains. |

| Hamiltons exclusion is crazy harsh, but I guess if they don't take fuel samples until after Q3 it makes a certain amount of sense. With the speed hes shown he shouldn't have too much trouble getting back up to some points. |

Punishment for Lewis is terrible, the normal punishment for doing this is a 5 place drop. More to the point, cars stop on track after almost every race, it's never even been mentioned. Hamilton had enough fuel on board for the scrutineering checks, this is retarded.
Really sad about Bruno as well, big fan
Worst of all, my Mum bought tickets for the weekend for my Dad's birthday so they could go (I've replaced her in going to the British GP since '97 lol) and now my Dad doesn't even see it as worth watching the race and wants to come home early. I hope he doesn't, but I can understand exactly why he feels like that. Absolute farce. |

| He had enough for samples. Not happy with this decision at all, he has driven extremely well this year but keeps getting fucked. He just needs to get his head down now and score as many points as possible. There was a few whispers of rain tomorrow so that could help. |
