Opening post has Vettel earning 19million, not sure where that came from.
Kovalainen looks out of place

| Though Di Resta was biggest shock, he is lowest paid of all, and well out of the bottom half of teams and drivers i thought he was the best, well maybe Kobyashi and Perez are a bit better than him but Di Resta deffo 3rd best driver out of everyone below Mercedes. |

I'd say he's on par with Lewis

yeah that is odd, especially as when he left for F1 he won the DTM DC :/

I think it will be fun for a year or maybe two but Vettel will be beaten and he will become erratic through frustration.
He won't leave RB untill Merc or Lotus is a stable and credible rival to the top teams... I don't think he'll be moving to Ferrari or McLaren for a long long time, if everLast edit: 2012-06-02 02:48:28 |

“Following on from a number of discussions in Monaco, during which it became clear that certain misunderstandings existed, we feel it would be helpful to make our position clear with respect to the presence of a fully enclosed hole in any surface lying on the step plane,” a note from the FIA to teams said.
“It has been argued that, as it is not explicitly stated that fully enclosed holes cannot be located in a surface lying on the step plane rearward of a line 450mm forward from the rear face of the cockpit template, then they may be located in such areas.
“We disagree with this view and consider it implicit that fully enclosed holes may not be located there,” the note declared. “If they were permitted the opening part of the second paragraph of Article 3.12.5 (which was added to the regulations at the same time as Articles 3.12.9 and 3.12.10 for 2011) would be superfluous).”
Looks like RB would have been DQ'd if Ferrari had actually protested as they were threatening at Monaco. Lucky for RB and Webber. I find it strange as when question marks were raised over Renaults mass-damper system they took it off the car way before it was deemed illegal to prevent race results being challenged. Lets hope RB dont win a title this year or lawyers could get involved. |

| I don't think Ferrari would have go after RB if they thought they would win, they went after them after the 2nd GP of the season and nothing came of it... I think RB would have been fine and this is just a clarification for future races |

I don't understand the FIA anymore. I mean, that's nothing new, I didn't understand them before that, either. It's just another reason for why I don't understand them. |

| To be honest, these holes are pretty nominal to performance. Red Bull technologies is blatant cheating however. |

Gary Anderson took one look at it and said "that isn't legal". I don't understand how the FIA guys could miss something so obvious before the race. |

Cyber-anarchist group Anonymous have already threatened to disrupt the race.
"As we did in Bahrain, Anonymous intends to wreck Mr Ecclestone's little party," read a statement from Anonymous last week.
"Beginning on June 7 and running through race day on June 10, Anonymous will take down all the F1 websites, dump the servers and databases and wreck anything else F1-related we can find on the internet.
"We would like to remind anyone considering attending this abominable race that last time Anonymous found all the spectators' personal data, including credit card numbers un-encrypted on F1 servers."
They shut down the free access on thursday due to a protest about student fees, now anon on F1s ass too. |

Ferrari/Lotus unknown, for the rest the long stint pace was like Williams > McLaren > Sauber > Mercedes > Red Bull > Force India. Which is worth next to nothing at this point, of course, especially from P2, but still worth noting
Petrov's long stint smashed Glock's by 2 seconds on average
Speaking of 'smashed', the Wall of Champions claimed Bruno's car

They really solved their issues at Red Bull, that car is flying again these last two races. Should be a good race with those three at the front, hoping for rain |
