IT'S FUCKING ON!!!
UFC President Dana White said of the Rematch of the Century between UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen.
The first time the two fought was in UFC 117 where Sonnen smothered Silva with wrestling for four rounds and 4:20 in the fifth round, until Silva pulled a literal last minute armbar to retain the belt.
The rematch is scheduled in June 2012 in a football stadium in Brazil.

Woahhhh this fight was epic in the 2011, was just pure madness at how the spider got out of it the Champ, has been killing people left right and centre since then so i guess he was the only person left.
Has sonnen fought since UFC 117? |

| Sonnen will take the belt this time, I like Silva fighting style he is always entertaining and always trying to finish the fight (with one exception when he was pulling a nick diaz and showbouting too much). When it come to sonnen though he is the hardest fighter for silva and will not come out on "top" this time. |

Maybe you could mention this when reviewing the fight (from wikipedia):
Silva allegedly went into the fight with injured ribs and his doctor advised him not to fight. During the first round, he cracked his rib and was out until 2011 because of the injury.[53] Following the fight the California State Athletic Commission confirmed that Chael Sonnen tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs (PED's).[54][55] Doping tests revealed Sonnen had an elevated testosterone level which fell outside of the normal range prior to his fight with Silva.[56] Dana White announced that Sonnen would get a rematch when Silva returns. This was revoked after the issue with PEDs came to light, but Dana White had a change of heart and scheduled the rematch.

I do really like this fight, no matter how i want to see it chael really did bring the fight to silva and he could do it again.
i have question tho, was the steroids chael took to help his weight cutting? Have heard people take them to slim down and would explain some about how he looked at his bisping fight, he looked very drained on the weighins

| I don't see Sonnen winning this in any way, shape or form. Last they fought, Silva was injured, and Sonnen was on drugs. Another reason Silva will dominate is because I think he can prepare for a match way better than Sonnen. Silva knows what to expect now and he will be completely ready for it. Sonnen has 1 thing going for him and he doesn't even have surprise anymore, Silva knows exactly how good he is. Silva on the other hand has a large selection of fighting styles to choose from. Can't wait! |

Yeah he defeated Brian Stann by a sub, and Michael Bisping in a close fight just a couple of weeks ago.
Hopefully Chael Sonnen will crush Silva like a little mosquito. All hail Chael, the greatest troll in sports!

I was very unimpressed with Chael in the Bisping fight and with one pissed off Silva. Yeah, I don't like his chances. We won't see anything near as close this time around. |
