MM as 3, the 2 other randoms instantly pick lich and ursa and run to rosh. We go to assist them in case of a gank (none of us were particularly adept at roshing level 1), we get ganked (ofc), lich and ursa die (ursa to rosh lol), pudge is forced to suicide, other 2 escape. Ursa then blames us for "bringing the attention of the person checking bot rune" (there was no one there, one of us checked before going in) and leaves, while lich afks.
In the 5 minutes before we can leave as well, i get a double kill solo as weaver -.-. We would have been way ahead if they hadn't left.
Oh, and a game were I had to lane with a WR that went bottle first and at lvl 1 got stats. That was fun. |

There's really only one thing in this game that REALLY grinds my gears.
Invoker. There should be a required tutorial and standardized test to play this hero in matchmaking. I'm getting really tired of players randoming him or picking him with no knowledge of how to play him. Litterally having to tell people which orbs to level, which buttons to press to invoke the spells they should use. Telling them why the item they think they should get is an awful choice. Explaining why they shouldn't be booking it around with 3 exorts up with 25% health in a duo lane with their RL rikimaru friend who got first blooded at level 2.
It's like having to play two heroes at once in a 4v6 game and the second hero you're trying to micro does the exact opposite of what you want it to.
Early game Cold Snap Harass? MOAR LIKE METEOR SMASH!!! EMP Tornado combo? DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO I'M GOING TO OPEN UP WITH ICE WALL BEHIND THE TEAM FIGHT THEN METEOR AND THEN ACCIDENTALLY INVOKE ALACRITY TO CAST ON CRYSTAL MAIDEN MID FIGHT. FUCK YEAH LIKE A BOSS.Last edit: 2012-02-10 15:36:28 |

Went Shadow Shaman mid for quick bottle, controlled lane well.
Rest of team feeds side lanes so bad that by the time I'm level 6, our enchantress is 0-7 partnered with an Alchemist 0-4 in about 10 minutes, the opponent team's Razor is Godlike with PT/Yasha/Vanguard, then my team says:
Y U NO GANK? ONLY GO FOR BOTTLE RUNES?? ALL YOUR FAULT

The Matchmakin gis just SOO horrible...
I normally play with 1-2 friends... Which is the only thing "saving" my sanity. Me and one of the others (the one I mainly play with) tend to "random"...
The Auto-Queue is just stupid. It's just one big retard lottery.. In each game there are at least 3 utter morons which basically decide which side wins, except when they are evenly spread so the decent players on both teams can get angry having to play this out praying that their "moron" won't feed the enemy carry to hard (or the enemy carry(ies) needs longer than yours to find out which guy he can feed of the easiest)...
I'm in no way a pro.. But.. the things I have seen... ugh... Seriously, people should start to flame harder and more to make these guys wanna quit the game  . I'm not talking about inexpirienced players, with certain heroes I'm not exactly the biggest asset to my team either....I'm talking about guys that seem to shut down their minimap, their survival instinct and their brain whenever they press "find game".
The first thing i actually check when playing is.. "Do my comrades buy the EXACT items that are recommended to them?" if so... P R A Y.. But mostly you just end up with Carry-Venge...

Yesterday:
Morph + Bounty Hunter on my team after over 50 minutes combined had:
2 x Treads, Linkens, S&Y, few Wraiths.
50 MINUTES... You can probably have like double of that when you just stay at fountain, which also would have helped more than their actual play.
Tide/Mirana/Thinker (me) defended as long as we could but we just couldn't push, I had Bot but it just wasn't possible (Furion/Brood on enemy team, how we even made it so long is beyond me)... Such a waste of time because two retards feel like running around like headless chickens the whole game... At least i learned how to play Thinker (nver play that guy, don't like that guy).Last edit: 2012-02-10 20:31:27 |

Some of the carries look really fun to play.
But I'm to scared to play them or go mid because of the pressure and I fall apart when people yell yell at me.

EDIT: Duo queued with a friend the other day. Go Omnibro/Enchantress for super supportan/trollan.

| How can you even get such teammates? I think worst one I had recently was Riki who didn't level smoke until very late in game and even then refused to use it even once. |

Riki whiteout smoke? How is he ever killing someone.. Most Heroes can just can go toe to toe with him when they don't show their back and he isn't using smoke?
I mean.. This is kinda like playing Phantom Assassin.. Whiteout talenting anything but Blinkstrike... |

Russians should have their own server, and be forbidden to play with anyone else, seriously. Why would you pick (insert agi melee carry here) if you don't want to farm? AM can't gank at level 3, wtf, that's called feeding.
My favorite moment: Me as Skeleton King and Lina are on the bot lane against Riki. We kill him a few times. Then Sand King shows up, I say "oom", Lina fires her stun regardless, Sand King evades easily and the enemy WR shows up and kills Lina. I then get raged at in chat for not stunning...
The game before, again something like 8/10 players were Russian, I was playing WR and got raged at for feeding - I was 8-2. What. The. Fuck. How do those people breathe? |

I really hate those games where you go mid, and both side lanes fail miserably, dying 2-3 times before I reach a level where I am capable of doing something and then proceed to blame you for not ganking. That feeling when the whole game is crumbling down around you and there's nothing you can do about it.
For example a game yesterday, nobody except an alchemist had picked at the end of the picking timer, so I pick drow ranger and head mid, alchemist goes bot(we´re Dire). Ten seconds later a guy on my team picks tinker, so I offer him mid and he answers "No, I dont want mid, I hate mid". Ok. Fourth guy picks warlock and head top, and fifth guy goes bot to join alch with mirana. What happen? Alchemist manages to stun himself(according to mirana), giving their bot an early First Blood. Alch succeeds to die one more time before our top lane decides to join the dying game, giving away a double kill. The 6 minute top rune is a DD, and I see an opportunity to kill top, so I ping the minimap to show them I'm coming. What do they do? Nothing. I kill their AA but is killed in the process because I'm 1vs2 with a warlock and tinker with both health and mana hiding at our tower. We naturally continue to lose the game, and of course it was my fault because I didn´t gank according to tinker. 1. I did gank 2. I even offered him mid because he is a better mid hero. Sometimes I believe that when people say "gank", they mean "babysit my lane".
I can admit I have many faults as a player and I might indeed have done many wrongs in this particular game, but I try to communicate, I never type down my negative feelings to my team mates and I try to be constructive and helpful when I see a teammate doing very obvious bad decisions, but sometimes I just want to punch something.Last edit: 2012-02-10 20:42:51 |

People who lose lane then cry for gank against an antimage that is raping them or something... like ok i get it you lost lane what do you want me to do about it? now that you fed them there's no fucking way we can kill the antimage unless our whole fucking team walks down there and dives the tower trading 4 for 1 or something. Then when you tell them that they all go like "welp, not my fault then i'll just blame my team for not ganking then go afk on fountain" oh and speaking of afk on fountain that's another extremely frustrating thing when you got like a sniper or spectre in your team vs 5 enemy support heroes who goes all ultrakill early game and everyone starts whining like bitches and going afk and shit even though you are actually winning... And the reverse that happens when you are on the 5 support team they all go "w00t, we have more gold im gonna go chase into their base and feed their carry, i mean we won already what can go wrong!"

| I have the exact same problem whenever I play alchemist appendix - I seem to end up solo mid with him a lot, proceed to get 60 cs in 10, have a 15 minute radiance, and then get blamed for losing the game because I'm not ganking. When I have absurd free farm as a hard carry. Never mind that we have wards, we can see the enemy mid going for ganks, and that I called it. It's obviously my fault. I should definitely give up my free farm as alche to gank and protect our venomancer. |

How dare you let Venomancer die, he's the carry, not you. You're obviously there for warding, the courier and sacrificing yourself for the glory of Venomancer, so he can 1v5 later.

| Solo mid pudge, gank my ass off, i went something like 10-2-6 first 20 mins. all the while weaver is free farming bot and bara is farming top, ( it was one of those everyone stays in mid for 70 years games..) after the 20 mins are over one would assume they would have some items, i check weavers gold its at 3 k, i check it again after 2 minutes , he sells his treads and buys and mkb and feeds 3 times in a row. Facepalmed. i thought well atleast bara is farming, but how dare i assume that he can last hit, go for a bkb or something? No Skadi rush. |

Hey now, that's a perfectly reasonable thing to get on bara, I mean, he needs some way to chase down heroes, I mean it's not like he has naturally high... Uh, not like he has an ability that lets him.... Uh, not like he has much mana. And skadi gives mana. Yes. There we go. That makes sense.
He needed mana.
Maybe he got an orb of venom early for extra chase, and decided he couldn't possibly waste that expensive item.

When I was first introduced to dota and after reading the descriptions of all items, I actaully thought rushing skadi was a good idea for all heroes.
