| I saw Salce destroy Rincent by stacking Doran's shields, pink wards and getting other defensive stuff as Rumble even after he got first blooded by a jungle gank. The only thing is if a Twitch is getting destroyed top lane they can still gank other lanes. |

He already admitted he was wrong.
Are there any champions that you guys would LOVE to play but just can't get the hang of? For me, it's Riven and Rumble. Both look insanely fun when played, but I just can't make them work. I mean, yeah, I can farm with Riven and 2shot their carries come late game, but I hate not being able to abuse her strong laning phase. Same with Rumble. I don't know what it is, but there's something I don't get about their respective laning phases. |

I have issues when the other ad shoves my lane and i'm playing vayne/trist for example. Then my support either tries to auto everything before the turret looks at it or they stand by and do nothing.
if you play enough games you will know how many tower hits and autoattacks it takes to kill a creep just by looking at its bar.
but in my experience, most solo queue people will mess things up if they are in your lane and "help" you. |

For me definitely Kennen. He looked like exactly the kind of champ I'd enjoy playing and do well at, but I suck terribly and slowly stopped playing him for that reason. I just tried out Anivia, and I suspect I'll have the same problem there.
Also any AD carry. I can't play that role. At all. I just don't have the patience to farm up or something.
Rumble is the opposite, I wasn't sure I'd enjoy him, but I'm having a blast, and I dominate lanes and team fights harder than with any other champ I've played. Not sure why, something about his play style just suits me well. |

Lee Sin and Jax. I fail to get the hang of Olaf but I barely played him so I still have time.
Regarding the tryharding with GP, games were pretty close actually. Ended up 53-51 on the second one or something like that, we lost top really hard, mid too, had two naked inhib at a point and lost one; Bot was won when I killed them some and again, then left my friend to farm while I went and killed stuff (including pushing enemy champs) myself and he splitpushed all day. At one point I wondered "How's he doing? I should really tell him to regroup if he doesn't have fun", then I looked and he was at the enemy inhib turret with a huge wave (#1 map awareness here).  |

On another note, would LiquidParty be interested in a Ziggs thread? I've been playing him a lot lately, been watching various people trying out different stuff on him (mainly Salce and Jiji) and I think I got a pretty good grip on how the champ works and how he's supposed to be played. I'm not the best of players (1525 Elo atm.), but I genuinely enjoy this champ more than anything they released since I actively started playing this game (Leona release.).
I sort of already started working on it, took some screenshots, started writing some stuff, but I don't want to make the thread and then realize on of our more accomplished and recognized members had plans on doing so. Last edit: 2012-02-18 22:31:54 |

Go for it, the champion threads just need a decent start to spark the discussion anyways, 1500 should be more than enough to do that. I have to agree that Ziggs is one of the better releases that I have experienced (also started at Leona release IIRC), fun spells, cool design, a bit on the strong side of balance. Haven't had this much fun in this game for months :3 |

Lee sin is so fun to play. The ones that don't work for me are fizz and kassadin. Apparently they are really powerful post-6 but maybe I just play like a pussy :/ |

Almost every non-bottom early game dominator. I love to rape faces with Garen + Panth, I have some affinity for those bursty AD casters.
But other than that, I fail horribly at AP mid for example. Vs bad players, my standard Annie / Vlad / Lanewick is more than enough, but as soon as I am up vs a competent Cass / Xerath / LeBlanc etc. I'm more or less fucked.
Same goes for top vs. Riven / Udyr / Lee Sin etc. Any semi competent player will beat me in lane there since I just lack the experience of solo lanes. I almost exclusively play with friends and end up bottom lane ranged AD. So if it's not a super aggressive kill lane like Ez / Leona or Alistar / Tristana, I'm used to be top farmer in the game no matter what.
I think it has something to do with the mentality you adapt to when focusing on a certain role which is why I think that I am probably not aggressive enough for AP mid or solo top (I love a 20 minute farm fest with Nasus however <3).

| haha, ye. im the same. when im laning all i want to do is farm farm farm farm, so i love nasus and veigar. but when im jungling i like to jungle for people who are more willing to make trades in lane so ganking is easier. shows what a pro i am fo sho. |

| Going to second the Olaf. Played him on a free week seemed fun but I have trouble feeling successful or useful when I play him. You don't see him very often on streams either. |

I kinda like Olaf but i do think he is underused.
Especialy when you see comps like protect the kog run i sometimes wonder why it doesnt get countered by Olaf.
There is very little that is going to stop him from just charging through your cc line to him. |
