I was initially going to yell at you (because I confused group B with group C), but instead I'm going to agree with you. A & B are very strong but groups C & D are ridiculous. Group A is probably the weakest, with MKP being a little inconsistent (although I generally think he's brilliant) and Boxer and Puma both being capable of losing to a foreigner of Ret's caliber.
A question to anyone -- Are only two players advancing from each group? If so that's kind of a shame. With groups this strong, I would have preferred a blizzard cup format with three advancing from each group. In this format, it's going to be really tough for any foreigners to advance. Ret may actually have the best chance because his zvt is strong and his group is comparatively "weak" (with "weak" being used extremely loosely here). |
