| From what I'm aware Sylla is not a derpy pub character, takes more coordination to play him right? I mean complianing about Sylla is like complaining about any radiance rushing hero, and you don't see people bitch about Spectre. |

Sylla is a range/meele(bear form meele, true from range) hero.Spectre dont have a push power like sylla, also he cant jungle like sylla.

less pubby but it's easier to dominate a game with him because his laning phase isn't crap, but it's harder for less experienced players to make an effect as te game gets longer, you can't have your bear die 2x in a row...

| Lycan or Sylla in the hands of a good player can dominate a pub game, but in the hands of a shitty pub player makes me want to facepalm. Same with Invoker. |

tbh i'm always confused whenever i see someone epic fail with lycan in a pub. How hard is it to jungle, get vlads/medallion then solo rosh and go on an unstoppable pushing spree -.- Then again, I've seen some people who are convinced a deso rush is #1 on lycan soooooLast edit: 2012-03-28 07:35:49 |

sylla isn't as faceroll as lycan, but it's still pretty bad. The thing with sylla is if a really good person gets him, it's just a horseshit adventure in asshattery.
I think my friend and I are going to have to practice our lycan/sylla picking for MM AP games for the next couple of weeks. loooooooooool. |

I'm not tooo bad and my rating isn't too bad in MM but I still see people failing and playing lycan wrong which amazes me. I've literally never played the hero before now, and I came from HoN where lycan is not even picked in pubs. I still have effortlessly gone 5-0 each game having like a 5 k/d. The most amazing thing is people dont understand how to play him even then. Sylla is I'd say quite a bit tougher to play properly at least you have to control more than 1 character and just a-move. If someone can mess up Lycan, sylla will be impossible for them  |

People fail with Lycan in pubs because they play him like a Void or Bounty Hunter when he is a pusher. Vlads/BkB/Necro3 is the way to go
I find Sylla x10 more annoying than Lycan.
Lycan at least can be fucked over pretty good if he gets some bad neutral spawns and you block some as well...like on the Radiant side where you get three pulls blocked off (furthest on the right) and get Ursa spawns in the one that isn't makes you want to cry...but it takes no effort to jungle with Sylla at all.
Sylla only requires coordination if the people you are versing are good. IMO, Sylla in some ways is quite a lot easier than Lycan. Lycan has to be proactive because lategame he isn't that amazing but Sylla is content to farm for a million years and push whenever he feels like it :|
Entangle is so goddamn annoying as well |

Yes, there was, similar to Spirit Link in Warcraft 3 that Spirit Walkers had. Divided the damage done to the bears evenly. I can't remember when it was taken away haha but it must have been a while now.
And I would say Syllabear is not an easy pub stomp hero, in the hands of a good player almost any hero is a handful. It's much easier to own with Lycan or keep up with him compared to a Syllabear for an average player. A few ganks on a Syllabear and some map control lost can make it very hard for him. A Lycan will be very hard to shut down early without good teamwork because he can jungle uninhibited. |
