How would adding -ar split the userbase? People can choose whether or not to queue for -ar :/
That hero selection thingy confuses me, gonna have to try it out on the main client before I comment on it. |

| Because if people queue for one mode and not others it makes queues take longer. Personally I only queue SD and RD, AR is too big of a crap shoot. |

| They're pretty much only missing awesome heroes now. Lanaya, Terrorblade, Meepo, Tauren Chieftan, Centaur Warchief, PA, NA, Medusa, Naga, Necrolic, Troll Warlord, Chaos Knight, Luna. I'm sure I forgot a few, and there's some heroes that were added after I'd quit DotA 1. But there's some fun guys still in the works! |

Yea I agree. As much as I also really want AR, adding extra modes right now will just end up in longer queue times. I'm SURE that they'll add it in the future, but for now we have to live without it. :[Last edit: 2012-05-24 13:30:27 |

Also Ogre Magi has always sort of felt like a joke hero. He's so bound to the RNG he's feast or famine really. Generally speaking I'd rather have an 'actual' hero on my team. But when the RNG is going your way it's pretty funny.
Without any procs at all OM is worth picking in some cases. The hero is good, with or without the RNG factor. |

Ogre was in the limelight for a bit in the competitive scene about 6 months ago, even getting banned sometimes. A tanky support I suppose, but his mana pool is really crap haha.
"Fixed Black King Bar not dispelling Haste and Double Damage." Hmm, I didn't think they would make that change (thought it was intentional that they worked through BKB).
On -AR matchmaking, I like to play the mode since I random 99% of games but it's not that popular I think. In Dota 1, there were rarely ever any -AR games in the games list. You'd be highly unlikely to get an -AR game queuing. |

Nah BKB dispels all positive buffs as well. Repel should too. |
