Hello fellow Zergs, I think it would be fun to see how you put your vetos now when we´ve played the new season for some days. What´s your number one veto Zergs? mine is Entomed Vally.

theres so much fail going on here its gonna make my head explode O.O!!!!
antiga ship yard is pretty bad if you spawn anything but cross for zerg so 1/4 chance to play it the right way?
2/4chance to get gayed by close postions
dunno about the other maps, I think cloud kingdom has to many rocks for my likein' makes playing protoss weird
shatter temple is prob the next map to go, rocks blocking third's blizzard's way of telling you, you are playing the wrong race

I only veto Entombed Valley. It's actually impossible to stop a terran or protoss from taking a third base on that map. Also your own 3 base play is delayed by the fact that you need to make units (instead of drones) to clear your rocks to the third. Also 4th base is easy as fuck for terran and protoss to take safely vs zerg while its either very undefendable (for the middle one) or too far away to defend (another natural or third) for a zerg to take.
I would like to veto Shattared and Taldarim simply because having rocks at third gets zerg behind if the opponent is capable of thought but those maps are decent anyway and are used in tournaments.
Oh and Shakuras is like the terran map of the year but I still like to have it on for tournament practise. Cloud Kingdom is probably more imbalanced for passive terrans as there is simply no way of attacking their 3 bases if they are careful about it. That map needs some DESTRUCTIBLE ROCKS removed from it. But terrans haven't learned to stop playing 2 base timings or all in builds so I still win a fair ammount on that map.Last edit: 2012-02-20 10:02:28 |
