Trust me guys, part of my job is to talk to a LOT of players of our game. I meet hundreds of them every time I'm at events. You wouldn't believe how many people just know about streams from their more active friends and like watching them even though they have no idea what's going on. How will they learn what CC means if no one ever explains? I do agree it would have helped to explain what the abbreviation stands for, but still, now 30k players have heard that cc = disabling the enemy. Maybe 20k of them already knew this, but if we want to expand the audience for eSports (and we do, trust me) we need to teach, teach, teach.
This is even more important when I'm casting a circuit event where literally hundreds of thousands of players are exposed to the stream through the client, so yeah, I'll do some of it myself.

but now you know. and my point was that the large majority currently watching the ogn tournament HAVE a gaming background. if this was ipl or some other huge event with a link in the client + huge advertisements i would totally accept a more "casual friendly" style of commentary. but right now ogn is a tournament for nerds who watch lol more than 2 days a week.
I HAD a gaming background and it took me a while to find out. C- on ICCUP and before then I played a bunch of consoles. If LoL was big when I was just starting I would have definitely watched a tournament to try to see what the game is about but I would have no idea what the commentators meant.
