keep up the stream , love the in game commentary of high elo games, takes alot of concentration and hard work to do this, i appreciate it, and try to catch the stream alot, but being on gmt times, means i miss alot..

Sadly I couldn't stream today because I'm having a lot of PC problems as I'm sure many of my viewers know.
I posted this to /r/techsupport and the techsupport thread here on TL but haven't gotten any help, maybe someone here knows?

Hey guys, in December I built my first computer. It worked out great until now. About every 10 minutes everything on my computer will cease to work and no commands work (such as ctrl + alt + delete) for about a minute and then everything starts to work again and the commands that I issued while it was froze instantly work. If I have music playing the it'll pause and pick up where it left off. When this freeze occurs I can hear my computer get a bit loud.

I fear it might be a CPU problem but I'm not sure.

My specs are: Windows 7 64bit

8gb RAM

AMD 6570

Asrock z68

i3 2100 (Idle temperature around 44, is this too high?)

yea sounds like a CPU problem. for some reason its getting overloaded and takes time to process everything then goes back to normal

this happened to my computer too but not that degree, it randomly got a lot shittier and i had to fiddle with some options on the client to be able to play LoL at decent FPS again zz

I WAS but can't really do anything well anymore. I'm reluctant to upgrade without knowing what happened to my computer.

Most likely not a HW problem. Check if you have a virus/malware. Also check if you might have changed any Win7 settings (things like updating, security, power saving mode). Perhaps you have another program running that's doing something wonky.

Does this behaviour occur even when you turn on your comp and let it sit idle?

I reformatted and I still get this so it's not a virus or software problem. I get it even if the computer is idle but it occurs more frequently if I have a lot of programs running.
