Casters insult players all the time when they do dumb shit. Once he starts trolling, "oh hes GOT to be stream cheating, hes building a factory, and NO terrans do that" even his co caster knows hes trolling. calm the fuck down everyone, how can you take this so seriously |

| I don't get the issue... He commented that a known stream cheater might be stream cheating and apologized that same night(which I don't really think he had to). Yeah he went on and on about it which was annoying from a listener's perspective but certainly not infuriating like most of you seem to think. I guess because Dragon streams on TL sometimes people are willing to defend him in something like this. Too harsh punishment in my eyes. |

It's one thing to stream your play, and earn a little money. Hell, sAviOr He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named was streaming on Afreeca for a while and I don't think many people had a problem with that. Should Dragon choose to accept the trip to IPL 4, I for one will be personally disappointed.
TL;DR: Katu will not be casting my events for the near future, sorry for anyone who was going to tune in today. What Katu did was wrong, and what Dragon is doing is wrong as well. Stop witch-hunting and being biased.
To be clear here, Dragon afaik didn't say he was going ANYWHERE. So to assume he is doing anything is just wrong.

| Sounds like Katu only said this because he remembered the times where Dragon had controversy around him for cheating. Everybody flipping out didn't even know about that and were just fans of dragon who got offended. Isn't it Dragon who put himself in this position in the first place by cheating? If ten years from now CombatEX gets into a tournament and people don't all hate him anymore, and a caster rips on him for being bad mannered and a cheater, wouldn't people be wrong for calling for blood? |

Are you retarded? He does the same 3 command center build every game and he did not see the roaches coming hence he build the command center. It doesn't sit well with me when people/companies/teams drop the people they have chosen to take under their wing like a bad habit as soon as it looks negatively on them or things aren't going exactly as they have seen it...
This, In my eyes is very similar to the Naniwa situation. Quantic gained a lot of kudos (at least from me) when they chose to stick behind Naniwa and rough it out.
In the end, I just truly hope this is what Playhem thinks is the right decision and not just them wanting to find a scapegoat to avoid all the negative press. |

He got provoked later on, further engaging the drama. I get your point but trolling as a professional caster should be done cautiously. And never troll/start referring to the No-No of all No-No's: Cheating.
You know he got (dragon)fans watching, people cheering the other guy that feel just as screwed if he was infact really cheating. Anyway, trolling about a player you are casting - implying that he's cheating- doesn't go down well. Really kinda stupid now i think of it. Just plain stupid if his intend was nothing more than trolling..
Trolling is an art (if done right) not an excuse. I could name 9834 topics that would never be used as a troll, just because you know your viewers won't get it or overreact to a controversial topic. |
