Hey I'm from Montreal and I see alot of the Montreal community when I play console games, you can tell who they are because they have the QC on their gamertags. I was wondering who here was from Montreal and if you know any good SC2 hotspots around the downtown area.

We have a huge community indeed! There's a bunch of University Teams (ETS, Mcgill, Concordia, Laval ect.), other local teams and Barcrafts for most tournaments so keep an eye out when major events happen...
Unfortunately, we lack a permanent/popular Lan Center
I live in Montreal and like everyone has already said, we have a pretty large community. I went to the Anaheim Barcraft and it was amazing to say the least. I'll also be attending LANETS in about three weeks time.
I tried nagging NEO Internet Cafe on Ste-Catherine Ouest to organize a tournament but nothing's materialized. Maybe if we collectively nag them...
well actually I know the owner of www.proelitegamer.com its a Montreal based competitive gaming site, its new but i know he wants to be big in Montreal. maybe u guys should head over there n help him get organized so we in Montreal can have more events
