There will still likely be buying and selling of items in HC. It just won't happen at the official RMAH. |

Being a stay-at-home dad, avid gamer, and PC afficionado using a horrendously outdated PC (Ugh, last generation enthusiast socket, and only 2 last generation GPUs...) this makes sense to me.
Besides, when I play for me, I intend to spend a decent chunk of time on HC.
I want to be a stay at home dad some day. I'm so jelly of you!!! It's my dream occupation. |

Regardless, being a "big spender" and having great gear doesn't let the user auto-win... Just gank the dude and take his stuff he "spent big" for, and profit! |

| I just hope there won't be items like Enigma, which you absolutely have to buy to play at higher level with any character besides sorc |

I'm pretty sure there's no world PvP in D3 lol... |

Unfortunately the only PvP in D3 is arena-based PvP (which won't even be in the game at launch), so there will be no ganking. |

| I'm curious about the race to Hardcore. As stated previously, one must defeat Diablo and all his minions in the normal difficulty before creating a HC ccharacter :D That somewhat makes reaching hardcore first a minor achievement, although I'd imagine whoever does that will lose out on a lot of story line. Personally, I'll enjoy my normal SC playthrough as much as possible and then put on the big boy pants :D |

You actually unlock hc at level 10 now, and it has been confirmed this change still be in place when the game goes live.

dont buy it because they dont like lvl 1-10 !!! lmao
I find this attitude kinda funny ... if all the available evidence points to you possibly not enjoying it and there for considering not paying £45 for a turd ... what on earth about that deserves mocking? Are you saying they are wrong about their views about 1-10? or are you saying basing decisions on available evidence is laughable?
He's saying it's like a person deciding they don't like sex because holding hands with a girl isn't all that.
ROFL
ok you win, i cant beat that. Well I can because its an analogy but you deserve it
Really your analogy breaks down because well if you don't like holding hands with a girl, holding hands with lots of em in a row really isnt going to float your boat either. Teh sex is just a promise.
Dont get me wrong im not trying to dampen peoples enthusiasm, i just hate the argument that it will be good ... umm because ... Blizz made it? Havent you been ripped off before? Everyone blindy saying itl be the best thing since sliced bread would make perfect marks dont you think? There is nothing wrong with having reservations and buying it a few weeeks after release - then you dont run the risk of playing something that you have hyped beyond all reasonable expectations. |

Like the girl analogy it depends. If holding hands creeps you out and you dream of penises you might really not get into it but if it feels right and is just not very sexual you better just wait for the real thing
So why are you cautious about D3 ?
