Hey guys, kind of reviving a thread, but after patch 1.5, level 28, the ghosts don't one shot banelings anymore, making this fucking impossible. Does anyone know if it'll be fixed?

Yea I came to see this thread because of this.
Without having tried it (my GPU messed up, so can't) I'd suggest marine focus fire true korean style ;-). There is a limited amount of banelings, so if you have the ghosts placed as meat shield it should give you room for marine focus fire whenever a baneling appear! Perhaps using double snipe on the first 2-3 waves!
It makes the challenge more interesting, since it was too easy before. It wasn't actually a challenge. Placing your bio in a corner and pressing r on anything baneling-shaped --> 50apm success ;-).

I just tried it again and did it after four tries. It takes two snipes now, which is annoying, but it's not impossible. Remember, Snipe casts as fast as you click, and there's smart fire so you're not going to waste energy... your ghosts should have enough to make it through the whole thing. Just try to click as fast as you can, it takes a lot of precision (it probably doesn't hurt that I'm used to sniping templars/infestors...).

This is really hard to do because of how close the banelings get... I'd guess you're gonna get splashed a lot if you're a millisecond too late. It still works by just sniping like crazy and letting the marines kill zerglings.

The last one is just stupid, it purely and entirely depends on two things, one of which is entirely out of your control:
If all three stalkers do not fire at the exact same time throughout the entire challenge, your tank or medivac will simply die. At the start of the challenge, half the time the stalkers will not stay in a line when they move to attack the tank and will fire at separate intervals as a result.
The other thing is which Stalker your tank decides to fire upon. Having it actually shoot the lowest health Stalker is needed to beat this thing but half the time the first shots will be on a different Stalker. This may be an APM issue for me though.
I don't mind a difficult challenge but it should be entirely up to the player (and not AI pathing or priorities and such) whether or not you succeed. The last one is way too much luck based IMO.
Playing Terran is like flying down a MULE drop in a marine suit, firing a Gauss Rifle

The last one is pretty easy actually, you just have to get the rhythm down
I'm in masters (also diamond I) so obviously I know what I'm talking about
So I was playing through these and got through 27 of them at my buddys house but when I log on at home I see that I dont have credit for those. Obviously the game save data is stored locally, can anyone tell me where?
28 is manageable withouth korean skill. I just did it, and i came back to the game a few days ago (i have right now like... 70-90 apm tops, so i am quite sucky hehe). Snipe works fine, you just need to remember to stim your marines and get to the ledge at the beginning.
My problem is the 30. Had 2 close calls with the stalkers at just 1shot to win it, but i don't know how people do it with the medivac not moving at all (not even to drop the tank). I see people who does it withouth clicking, but if i try the keybindings, it just feels too weird and slower, also because your medivac moves. What am i doing wrong with the keybindings ?

Select your medivac and press "h". Then it shouldn't move unless you assign it to move.

There are too many pages to read through for the answer, and i think i know it, im just looking for some re-affirmation.
To get the Portrait Achievement for the Starcraft master, you must complete the 25 rounds with no resets and no defeats, or only with no defeats?
Also based upon your feedbacks, what would be the simplest 25 rounds to go out for the achievement? (I have completed 28 of the 30 so far, and can do 8-10 with no defeats or resets, but it gets harder afterwards.)
I wonder if there are any people out there that have offered money for others to complete it for them, to get the portrait and achievement :D ill plead guilty, it crossed my mind for a moment. But i would not stoop so low, im sure with several days of trying, a few broken knuckles from punching the wall and a couple smashed mouses, its possible !
