| Think I actually just got interested in women's MMA. Always thought it was gimmicky before but that main event armbar arm snap ? Jesus. Didn't hurt they were both pretty hot chicks.. Makes you wonder how it would be if Anderson Silva had some big beautiful knockers. |

I love Ronda and am glad she won. As a fan, I have a grudge with Tate (who I respect) for beating Marloes Coenen, my 2nd favorite female fighter. That being said, all the respect in the world for actually competing with Rousey on the ground, at times establishing dominance, and also for the insane pain threshold. On the first armbar attempt it looked like a dislocation, the second one a clear break... And she still hesitated to tap. What a warrior.
My top 3:
1. Ronda - I'm a sucker for judokas, and love that she tells it like it is... And her legs... my god.
2. Marloes Coenen - Another good sub artist, and has the most technical striking in WMMA.
3. Megumi Fujii - Was the best submission artist in WMMA until Ronda showed up.
Also, I have to give major props to Kazuo Misaki. I knew he was a good striker but thought that Daley's boxing, speed and raw power (as well as Misaki's multiple KO losses) spelled serious trouble for him. Fantastic performance - he really broke Daley down. I can't believe how bad MMA judges are that someone actually gave Daley a 29-28 win. Last edit: 2012-03-04 14:39:29 |
