[IEM] WC - Day 1 @ ceBiT

At least two foreigners will make it out of the Groups. Five will actually make it. Namely Socke, Nerchio, elfi, MaNa and Kas. Top 4: MaNa, Zenio, MC and Puma. If Stephano comes, then he will take the place of MaNa. T.T

So, assuming he will make the SXSW show match it would seem that his placements in the group stgaes are irrelevant as he won't be able to participate in the championship bracket (I do question in this case why he agreed to play / was invited to play at all in this scenario)

Meaning not only does Group B only have 5 players but only 4 of the players in the group are able to play in the knock out stages. So out of this group with only 4 real participants 3 will advance as opposed to the other groups where 6 poor buggers have got to play for 3 spots.

Unless at least one replacement is found for Group B. The first game happens in like 15 hours and next load up on points are Pomi, Slivko, Demuslim and Stephano. DeMu probably can't make it, as quoted in the thread Pomi was already announced as unable to come and Stephano tweeted back to me he couldn't go due to SXSW so why is Stephano not able to attedn and yet White Ra is?

White Ra doesn't seem like the sort of person who would throw games on purpose but if he manages to qualify from the group stages he'll have to forfeit anyway.

After the 20 point barrier you have Grubby on 15 but he is meant to be casting the on one of the event streams and then you've got shit loads of people on 10 points...

9 to 16 CET? Those times are pretty bad for a SC2 tourney. People in the US can't watch and people in the EU are at schoo/work/sleeping like a bum.

Yeah it really sucks, I was hoping to get to see some high quality SC2 competition after getting home from school every day this week... But it seems like I will miss most of it -.-
