I'm surprised there was no topic for this season yet! Antoine, where art thou?
I guess i'll follow the thread format Antoine had last season.
Location: Samoa
- No former survivor members and no redemption island
- Two tribes, divided by sex living in the same camp
- Two Hidden Immunity Idols, one for each tribe. The twist is if you find the other tribes immunity idol you have to give it someone from the other tribe before the end of the day or immunity challenge or tribal council ??? Not sure sorry.

Haven seen tonight's episode yet, but I hope that the girls can continue winning, otherwise, it won't make for a very interesting competition.
That said, I'm not rooting for anyone just yet, everyone either a bitch or a dick (Colston's a bitch). The only one relatively bearable is Troyzan. Maaaaaaaybe Tarzan, cuz he reminds of Rupert (something in his eyes just look like he's going to murder a castaway before the 39 days are up).

| I used to really like survivor but all the gimmicks suck now and the casting has gone way down hill. They spend months editing this into interesting narratives but have failed to for a few seasons running now (Since Tocantins, for me). They've also done like 5 seasons straight in Samoa so it's all visually the same thing. Atleast other tropical places had landmarks, we saw all of Samoa's the first time with Russell and co and now it's just boring redemption island stuff. |

I'm rooting for Chelsea on the female side. She seems like a cool chick. I don't mind Sabrina that much as well but I had to facepalm for what she did for Colton (FUCK U BITCH).
On the male side, I don't really like any of them. They all seem like a bunch of retards and have no idea how to play the game.
Yeah I forgot, fuck you colton please die.
The past couple of seasons have been disappointing and this season doesn't look like its gonna be that good either. Lets hope it changes.

Woot, thanks for making the thread  I have yet to watch episode 3-4 so I'm a bit behind but the reason is why is because I've got my gotten my parents into watching it :D
I think Monica is pretty cool. Colton is such the stereotype, T_T none of the gay friends I have with act anything at all like that.

The women won't necessarily have to keep winning if the men are as moronic as they were tonight + Show Spoiler +- they crushed the women in the challenge and, after a throwaway suggestion by Colton that he himself promptly seized on, gave the women immunity from tribal council in return for being able to go to tribal council. Ostensibly, the purpose was to vote out Leif (the dwarf), who had divulged his alliance's plans to vote out Bill to Bill, for betraying the alliance. Colton really disliked Bill, getting into this quasi-racist and most assuredly classist debate with him at the tribal council. Instead of voting for Leif, which even guys like Tarzan was saying was the whole purpose of giving away immunity, everyone voted for Bill, except Bill of course. I don't even... Probst added that this was the first time in 24 seasons, over 400 tribal councils, that one tribe voluntarily gave up immunity in order to vote someone off. They didn't even negotiate for access to the fishing canoe or net or anything at all for giving it up.
I agree with others who don't like some of the characters, especially Colton. I could stand him a bit more if he didn't have half as much camera time as he does for the one on ones. But he really is the ringleader of the alliance of 'misfits' as they called themselves, calling the shots and summoning other members, like Leif after the betrayal, to present themselves before him. The women are a bit less annoying, being the usual prissy, squeaky, and bitchy bunch they always are on the show. The men's alliance has two outsiders left, two of the most physically fit men, before they turn on themselves. On the bright side, I'm glad this season does not have the return of fan favorites, producer favorites, or any former players. This is hard to watch, that immunity challenge was the worst show of sportsmanship I've seen after watching so many seasons of Survivor, from both teams...
And I don't understand how they put up with what Colston pulled? Nevermind having balls, do they not even have brains anymore? They're not even playing SURVIVOR anymore. I nearly put my foot through my laptop screen and I might just have lost my faith in humanity. so glad i stopped watching this garbage show. survivor used to be an amazing, amazing game, full of strategy and in-depth game theory. however, dumb bitches ruined it by creating an incentive for players to not actually play survivor but crapshoot every tribal council after the merge. rich hatch won by arguing successfully that he pwned everyone and therefore upheld the three tenets of survivor better than his final opponent. yet now... they give wins to dumbfucks like SANDRA (lol) who do... what, exactly? oh yeah, sit back and do nothing, while the jury is nerdraging over someone being too good and pwning them.
what this does is make it so people are disincentivized to actually play survivor so its a zzzzzzzfest now. full of idiots without strategy. |

This is the worst season of Survivor yet, in my opinion. Almost nobody is likeable, and everyone is a clueless idiot. They gave up their fucking immunity, what the fuck? The guys are the biggest twats of them all. Why the hell aren't they blind-siding Colton? The stuck-up kid wouldn't even know what hit him, SINCE HE'S OBVIOUSLY JUST LAZYING AROUND ALL DAY.
Bill, the only guy I thought was at least likeable was voted out, so I'm watching with only the desire to see everyone suffer as much as possible and cry when they get voted out. |
