both of them are advancing from initial group play regardless of the outcome of this match, so I don't see why these pro players would be nervous over a game like this :o
it's his first lan event i think (or at least one of the first) |

Oh okay I thought only the first would advance. Strange that you do 3 player groups out of which 2 advance if the 3rd player is usually a totally unkonwn from the BYOC...makes the group stage seem totally pointless to me. |

nah it just makes it more sad, because i actually want to like them for their enthuiasm but they're calling every single fight wrong and just shouting bullshit at me. something's not going right if they're even wrong about the supply count half of the time.Last edit: 2012-04-05 08:10:43 |

I would assume, in the second group stage are two group winners and two secod places. And the skill difference between those will be quite huge, especially in tomorrows groups. |

I think you are right. I was upset before when they ignored Bischu's slow and strong comeback in game 2, but they are slowly winning me over. |

I can understand why some people would get annoyed by caster with strong accent, I also understand people expect perfect analytic full of epic knowledge but RELAX, for first day at their first live event (I guess? Someone said @ Jtv chat) and considering how tired they must be it was great cast coupled with amazing 1080p quality.
Btw, caster with beard (McDuffs) is absolutely amazing, I hope he gets most casting time for TG!
Cheers and cya tomorrow!Last edit: 2012-04-05 08:21:36 |

McDuffs had a 23 hour flight path to get to the event, and other casters had several hours on a flight also. That's also not including the delays on two of the flights. But this is only day 1, there is much, much more to come. |

We have 4 of our casters at the event currently, one of them is playing in the tournament so we are rotating the 3 casters to keep it fresh.
Appearantly he made the group stage, I see he's in Phoenix group. Grats to him. |

I am so very happy for the imba.tv crew.
I know not everyone likes the style of casting, I know it rubs some people the wrong way. Hell, the casting would annoy me had it not been for the very, very real and deep felt enthusiasm for the game. Having tuned in regularly since the inception, it has been a blast to follow their tournament coverage of the Euro scene and see it all grow.
Much love to the guys. xxx |

I saw some games and liked it
However, the stream chat is FULL of whiners (towards imba.tv). Could you please just go make a whine thread on a non-important forum or something? We don't want your whine messing up the chat. Also, scandinavians, please stop bragging about the LAN being in our part of the world.. Just makes us look like stupid attention-whores when it comes up in chat every 5 seconds. |
