LoL takes #1 E-sport spot in Korea

Awesome, League is a very nice competitive game, one which is just much more forgiving than SC2. I make know judgment about how good they are in comparison, but both are excellent games that will flourish in the future.

I mean LoL is a great game, I play it myself. But when I think South Korean Esports, Starcraft just screams out. I don't like it being replaced

This is an opinion piece. I was expecting some ratings that LoL on OGN was beating Brood War or something. Yeah, OGN is throwing a lot of money into it and the first few days of competition did get, I believe, five thousand (?) fans to the studio as they were giving away something pertaining to the game, but who knows yet. I would wait a few months to see if the interest keeps going or if it's just a bubble that pops.

I mean, GOM gave away how much money last year and that didn't make it the #1 e-sport in Korea over Brood War.

lol , this game i try to watch and to me is not really entertaining :/ i dont get why this is #1 , maybe gameplay is #1 but definitely not for watchers

Anything that keeps eSports alive in Korea is a good thing.

Seeing as SC2 isn't taking off in Korea as people had hoped and BW is slowly dying off, it's good LoL is there to keep things going.
