also remember in TLA it seemed that the characters fought in longer ranges often, with more earth/air/fire/water flinging
in LoK, it seems there is much more close combat, everything is quicker; you don't have time to "charge up" your attacks or blocks, you just have to do it quickly

| I like the fact that Bolin's comic relief was well executed (making fun of the metalbending cop, using Tenzin's arms like a puppet). It wasn't too cheesy or out of place. |

You first download the image somewhere on your computer. I use my desktop.
Then you click the upload image button. Find and upload the image with the file browser.
Then a link should appear with "[img]" tags around it.
Copy and paste that link into any of your posts and voila. Instant image.
The printscreen function and windows 7's snip tool can both be used to get an image snapshot from a video.
Ask if you need help with either. |

this LoK's focus is making some things that were overlooked brought to light, but in a sort of bad way; i'm sure they'll clear them up a bit more later on as we learn more things, but for example...
in TLA it was pretty simple; people could bend 4 different elements, we didn't really care about anything other than that (even if some people "couldn't" bend)
now it looks like bending may be genetic (or work something similar to it) and we are brought back to the point made in TLA that before bending the elements, people bent energy... ??? and that people learned earthbending from moles, firebending from dragons, etc.
so idk about you guys, i just hope they clear these things up o.o i would be a bit disappointed if they don't, i know the creators can handle it and probably planned it out beforehand but whether or not they make it clear in the show or let us interpret it is what i'm worried about |

At the end of the day, it's necessary to remember that this is a children's cartoon. I agree with you that this episode was lackluster, and I'm rather disappointed with where the show seems to be going.
However, at the same time I am forced to admit that I have unfairly high expectations for it and that I fall outside the intended audience. |
