Hi guys,
I wanted to ask if anyone has got some tips for me? I think I played quite well and my macro slipped in the lategame because I know I had already won (but yes you never should think like that, even in a won situation you gotta macro).

Some things I noticed myself:
Forgot to upgrade lvl2 for a loooong time. Also my arbiters should have been a lot faster. Anyways I am constantly seeking to improve my general play and wondered if you guys could give me some tips/ pointers/ compliments haha. Thanks in advance and have a great day!
btw, max rank C-, Purpaflurp is a smurf for my main account which is UED_ReZuya. Stats are so low because I offrace a lot with Purpaflurp account and try weird build (like forge FE in PvP which is better than you think). Protoss is my main. ^^Last edit: 2012-03-16 05:54:21 |

actually, i think others would probably agree with me but its counter-intuitive to post replays of you winning if you require help. it won't help you to see the actual importance of how you should improve.
to be honest, he didn't have map control at all and he was too passive, which was why you could expand and flank him all over in the first place. |

| Yeah he wasnt very good, and sorry I posted a replay of me winning, but when I lose I always watch replay and see what I did wrong and correct my flaws the next game. I posted this replay to ask if there are any fundamental changer that would be better to my play like having more map control or better obs placement. Thank you for your comment! |

| I don't think it's wrong to post a winning replay and ask how he could improve. It's not counter-intuitive. The only thing that differs is that ur opponet played worse than you. Even if you win you can still point out things u could do better. But sure it's easier to do when u lose. |

Funny how noone is yet to give advice (I wont either). And its fine to put a replay of yourself winning if you lose, its easier cuz you can identify the few things that cost you the game, but a winning replay can be just as or more valueble.
Anyway there are still threads like this one  You shouldnt need our help looking at your reps, just go thorugh the game, pause a lot and when you see something you can improve, exit the replay and focus primarly on it the next game.Last edit: 2012-03-17 07:17:25 |

edit: even if you want to brag, find a better person, if you are C- you should at least find a C-player..

I'll comment from Terran's perspective, so Terran players can see why T lost so badly.
- You could improve your opening slightly by pulling an SCV off of gas right when you hit 88 gas. This allows the two remaining SCVs to continue mining to 100 gas at top speed. While your factory is building, you'll have one more SCV on minerals, which gives a SLIGHT advantage. For a siege expand, you can pull two SCVs off; for the FD like you did (one tank + mines), you'll want to keep two on. (For those wondering why: despite an FD using less early gas, it allows you a faster 2nd and 3rd fact, since getting 2 vultures saves up a bunch of minerals over getting pure tanks).
- You didn't use your 2nd and 3rd facts for a good full minute after you made them. You could have spent that downtime money on an academy and armory. If you build stuff and you don't use it, it's a waste!
- Your macro is pretty bad when it comes to keeping your factories active. People don't understand how important this is. It's nice to get bases, and make sure you're secure. If you had kept your factories active, your army would be TWICE AS BIG. In the end, it all comes down to whether or not you can kill his troops. If you don't have a big army, you can't. Keep your factories running ALL THE DAMN TIME. That's the entire reason why you get new bases--so you can keep more factories running. Learn to not get distracted by battles and KEEP YOUR FACTORIES RUNNING.
- No siege during battle? That's GG right there. OP: you could have won immediately at 16:00.
- No vulture harrass at all.
Anyway, Terran played pretty poorly, so it's no surprise that P won. T never left his base with a single unit. |

forge fe in pvp is really bad, much more worst that you can even immagine xD much better is 13 nexus, look for the frozen guide.
ok, i wathced the first 12 mins by your vision, it can be enought
1 your scauting probe died immidiately, and generally dont scaut diagonal
2 faster goon range
3 use goons for furter scaut not probes
4 you have seen a cc, but not sige, you have goon with all goons out to chill a bit, and later to cathc 2 vults, shoud be a big mistake leaving your base with no defence, a few vultures can sneack in and kill a lot of probes
5 split probes when you send it to mine on naturel
6 you are going obzervers for what? let them chill around and have fun in middle of the map? extream mistake, you are playing 90% blind, it is extremly important to sneack an obzerver in t main
7extrealy late citadel and zealot speed
at this point i stopped watching the rep, because any even decent terran woud seamply push out and eliminate you while you are taking your 4th with no arbs, storm and not even zealot sped or shuttle for bombing
