Only one thing so far is absolutely clear: Toad_in_pink_dress is our only hope to maintain our town's historic amphibian worshipping ways, now that poor, martyred Toadesstern is no more. If there are any doctors (or better, veterinarians!) among us: know that Toad_in_pink_dress must be protected at all costs!

That important message having been said, at the moment I'm with Nemesis and slOosh. Johnnywup's behavior is coming across to me as townie deer in headlights, rather than amphibian-god-napping scum. On the other hand, grilling the newb to get some sort of reaction is very positive townie behavior as well. Hmph. I don't trust my own reads much.

I think we'll get the most real solid info out of the voting for day 1, as long as we avoid a no-lynch. So I plan to bandwagon on whomever can get close to enough votes. All your reads are likely to be better than mine, and that way I can hopefully prove my town-itude by being a deciding vote on a scum slaying.

I'm always critical... Or so I hope to appear.

I've yet to take a stance on JW. I think the votes on him are very weak but you can't really expect anything else at this point in the game.

I think that Tobon's post is pure rubbish which was what i pointed out. He made several newbie mistake in his first real post and while he is a newbie its still a bad post. The good thing is he now have made all those mistake and I expect him to act better going forward.

To answer your question directly: I don't know my teammates yet. Do you?

Yes, awful post, but I'm getting more of a new town vibe off of it. It reminds me of my thought process when I started playing. (Assuming he's new, if he's not, then this turns into a VERY scummy post)

Yea I don't like this post - you are sidestepping and not addressing my suspicions.
1) The meat of my suspicions was not at all on your calling out, but your behavior after that.
2) I think it's pre-emptive because you are addressing a past stance in lieu of your present stance.
3) You take half a paragraph to assert that we have a lot of time and implicitly encourage thread stagnation as you do not offer any new discussion points or "push a town agenda"
4) You completely ignore my suspicions on your 'wishy-washy on the fence' nature point in my case.

Add in some misrepresentation (painting me as someone stupid enough to try to convince someone that they are scum) and some more sidestepping (in the form of asking me for my stance without clarifying your own at all) and right now you are my #1 read.

I have already posted why I think johnnywup is town - I'd be happy to explain further but won't be doing so until you give your own stance.

Johnnywup claims that he is very new to the game, and yet he appears to have a pretty good head on his shoulders when it comes to ideals and posting in the game. However, he is not doing so as a townie. He's climbin' in yo' windows, snatchin' yo people up. He'll lay suspicion on someone, but also disregard his own post by not being firm on it.

Nemesis is a gut read for now.

Hmmm, it seems that snarfs and sandroba hasn't posted yet. Hopefully they don't get modkilled as 18 hours have passed since the game has started.

Probulous, I just took a quick look at your history, and you are usually a lot more helpful when you are not scum. You still haven't even made the list you promised before the game started.

Since we're on the subject, we might as well get more discussion. What does the rest of you think about VE's case on jonnywup? That is Jackal, Probulous, and whoever else who haven't given their opinion.

I've found out that, when put under pressure, johnnywup has been very keen on trying to clear his name, claiming he's just vanilla townie, and being very defensive in general. If he REALLY wants people to look elsewhere, he needs to start scumhunting for his own sake instead of just trying to be innocent.
