New movie coming out: basically a middle aged American man becomes extremely disgruntled with the current state of America. This comes about by him seeing the garbage reality shows, westboro church, media on television and the overall stupidity of everything he sees everywhere. Spurred by his diagnosis of a brain tumour, he basically goes on a somewhat comical killing spree to eradicate as much stupidity in America as possible, be it from teenagers throwing popcorn at him to westboro church activists with their classic homophobic picketing.
I personally found the trailer a teeny bit cathartic; to see someone just let out their rage at some of the incredible things that have come about in modern western society and in particular America, although I would never do this....
Thoughts? Americans in particular, what did you think, I thought that it could have been met with much worse responses if there was no comedy in the movie, but that seems to soften the issue of killing teenagers and other things.

Holy crap! What did i just watch. Looks like the sickest movie of all time, guy about to kill himself and decides to go kill 100s of others because the world is a f'd up place lol. Seems legit in someones head but crazy.

I'm sure all those people committing school shootings across America thought they were killing people who deserved to die too. I can't remember ever actually getting offended at something on the internet before but wow... holy shit this might be a first.

isnt he just living the dream of.. a LOT of people? most people desire to kill someone (usually stupid, ignorant or offensive people) from time to time.
and thats what happens when weakness and desperation take over.. and extinguish rationality and morals.
i like the theme of the movie, imho, thats the right way to handle most of the tabu topics. i mean.. being blatant.. is the way most comedians do it, so can movies. it makes people question things, or offends people, and therefore makes them think and talk about those things. what is good.
