So, despite Damon declining taking part in franchise continuation they're still going with it. This time with Jeremy Renner playing the agent. There's also Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton in it.
I wonder how closely it'll be related to the actual Bourne trilogy... they mention Jason Bourne at least. Pretty nice cast. I hope it'll be worth the money and not just another shitty sequel made to milk money from a somewhat-successful series.

Well... I'm probably gonna watch it, but not sure it's going to be good though. Don't really have high hopes for it, so I might actually be positively surprised.
This is just a damn cash cow, being milked by hollywood.
What the fuck is up with all the negativity? I for one like that the films don't stay true to the novels - makes them more unpredictable and interesting. So what if it's a cash cow? The Batman movies are cash cows but I don't see you guys shitting up the Dark Knight threads before even watching the God damn movie.

Well the bourne series just ended after the trilogy and everyone ( me at least) was satisfied with the ending. Then a while later they decide to make a new movie obviously for cash. It doesn't go down well with most people.

Look at all the awesome trilogies that got fucked up, by producing a fourth one...
- Alien 4 is shit - Indiana Jones is shit
- Star Wars kinda cheated and released a second trilogy, which wasn't good either
At least they use a new cast, so even if the movie fails to deliver the original bourne stays untouched. Please let this be a good one. I really like Jeremy Renner as an Actor :[
The chair slowly turns around. You see his face, but it can't be. He's not supposed to be here. Not him. Not a Protoss. Not THAT Protoss. MC says, "Hi Greg, long time no see." You back slowly out of the booth. But you can't. It's already forcefielded.
Do you guys not realize this is an entire new trilogy? It's not just "Bourne 4". It can best be compared to the new Batman trilogy or the new Spider-man trilogy or even The Hobbit etc. It's supposed to be a reinvention of the Treadstone stuff... from another angle, if you will.
Sure, they wouldn't be doing this if they didn't think it would make them money but regardless it's not just a tack on to the original like everyone in this thread seems to think/imply.

I enjoy James Bond and Mission impossible.

this film has an awesome cast with the likes of Edward Norton, Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz , and the rest of cast from the previous films. So the chances of this movie sucking is very low. Also, Renner was superb in the last Mission Impossible film.

Alright, but the second Star Wars trilogy was planned all along.

I'm so pumped for this, Jeremy Renner is an amazing actor. If you haven't' seent them, I'd recommend The Town and The Hurtlocker. Both are very good movies that he is in.
Jaedong, a legend of BW zergs, and DongRaeGu, a legend in SC2 zergs. Coincidence that both have Dong in there name? I think not ;)

Edward Norton is my favorite actor and the rest of the cast is solid. From the sounds of it this is all taking place concurrently with the previous 3 movies in the time line.

As much as I love the Bourne films... I dunno 'bout this one, it just won't be the same without Damon imo. I'll watch it anyway, but I fear it'll be a let-down :/

Hoping that there's actually a big plan/plot for this movie, so they surprise me in a positive way, and not just another way to milk the cow.. :-/ really liked the first1-2 movies! the third was abit predictable
