AFTER A WEEKEND OF INTENSE TRAINING, PLAYERS COMPETE IN A TOURNAMENT TO CONCLUDE THE RED BULL LAN: ORLANDO


Top StarCraft II players practiced and trained with one another throughout the weekend. Tonight at Full Sail University they will face off and put their training to the test for a cash prize. Stop by and watch live (3300 University Boulevard Winter Park, Florida)!

The RBLan has a unique way that players earn money: they earn a little bit for each win!

If you win a first round game, we hand you $100 in cash
If you win a second round game, we hand you another $200 in cash
If you win in the semi-finals, we hand you another $300 in cash
If you win the finals, we hand you $500 in cash

In other words, if you win it all, you get $1000 in cash xD.

According to that, if someone seeded in round 1 wins, they get $1100. If someone from round 2 wins, they get $1000.

They have to play less games to win though (or more money per game).

These were the focus players I believe so I'm guessing it some "compensation" for them participating in the first 2 days or something.

The focus players (the 4 players that had challenges for the event) got seeded in round 2.

IMO, If anything, the 8 other players should be getting compensation, since they were guinea pigs/practice partners for the first 2 days of the event

can't wait to see Illusion bust out some mech tvp... realistically Naniwa will throw him down and kick him while he's down
still, this is great preparation for all players for MLG--- i just hope it doesn't mess them up psychologically against certain players if they end up being in the same groups as players they lost to this weekend during practice sets
