Evrybody was speaking highly of Spain.
Funny also that the government that sunk Greece was conservative. So if Hollande will sink us because he is a socialist like Zapatero, then... Oh fuck it. |

Sarkozy winner by KO
Please, in this debate Hollande is killing him so far.
Are we watching the same debate ? I'm watching the one on France2 and TF1 right now, how about you ?
Sarkozy is the better speaker for sure. That's what saddens me about this election. We don't have any good public speaker in the politic field, and Sarkozy is the better one just because the level is supper low. It's like being a grandmaster on the SEA server.
the better liar you mean?
I fucking hate this guy but he is a good speaker, have to admit it.
Depends on what you call speaker (I'd say not), but he is very good in this kind of exercise obviously. Thank god I hate good speakers with a passion. |

Exactly. That being said Hollande misses a lot of easy counter argument in my opinion. |

Yep. Someone like Mitterand or even Giscard at his best time would absolutely nuke both of them. |

| Oh God, Sarkozy on Europe... Does he even realize that if Spain and Italy sink, we sink with them. Let them deal with their debt. That's so stupid. |

Doubt it. They have more gravitas, but that's it. De Gaulle would shit on them, that's for sure

Geiko, try at least to pretend that you are commenting is not completely biaised. See, Sarkozy was better in the first part, but Hollande is doing more than well right now |

Assume this world. I have 20 slaves. You are one of them. I give all the slaves different "benefits". Those who are really lazy/handicaped by nature/doesn't work alot still gets food everyday and can sleep in a bed. Whether this is justified or not is not my question.
But lets assume I actually have an election each year. If 11+ slaves agrees to be released I will release them. However for different reasons the slaves dont wanna be released (again the specific reasons on why they do not wanna be released is not up to to debate).
However you want to be released, but through this democratic election you can't. Your slave lord (me) gives you the option to different places, but you will always be a slave (just under another lord). My question is: Is this slavery voluntary? Last edit: 2012-05-03 05:40:54 |

Define "slave". As soon as you will have, you'll see the term either does not apply to citizens or loses all its meaning.Last edit: 2012-05-03 05:43:13 |

Some of the posts above are baffling.
Do you actually believe him when he corrects numbers from Hollande or just announce things? Just look up the 600 billion debt thingy, Hollande was right, he still said "No, you lie, you lie", and bam, people belive him, because journalists are not allowed to smack his face when he vomits lies, so it looks like he's right. Go take a look at https://twitter.com/#!/LeVeritometre for the veracity of the figures, not wether either of them say it's true.
How can you say he is a good speaker? He is a good sophist. Every sentence is embroidered with lies, contempt and mockery. Not sure if I'm more sad or angry that people swallow this stuff and vote...
Not saying Hollande would be a good president, but he's by far the lesser evil. |
