+ Show Spoiler +Starting at 20:30 EST on the day of the tournament, all participants must check in to reserve their spot in the bracket. To do so, visit the same page where you signed up and hit the Check In button. If you experience any problems, send a message to the tourney admin Wolfoby.120 and liehttam.244 on our chat channel SCVRush. Check In closes at 21:00 EST. Please don’t be late! If you don't manage to Sign Up in time and still want to take part in the tournament, it's usually possible. However, you won't be able to sign up the usual way and you'll have to come to our chat channel and PM the tour admin - he'll tell you what to do next.
Grand Prize
The champion will be awarded one hour of free coaching with our prestigious Master coaching staff!
Tournament Rules
+ Show Spoiler +1. Tournament Race - All players must use only one race throughout the tournament. Random is allowed.
2. Private Messages Blocking - Some players use the feature that disallows other people to send them a private message unless they're on the Friends list. Please make sure you turn this off before the tournament begins to enable admins and your opponents to contact you.
3. Match Beginning – After the tournament begins, players may continue playing rounds as the bracket updates. If your opponent does not show or is unresponsive, please report him to an admin and wait for 15 minutes. If he fails to response after this period of time, he will then be disqualified immediately. However, you may be chosen to get featured on our stream, in which case you are obliged to wait until your admin gives you the green light to proceed.
4. Observers – Other players may observe tournament games provided both participants allow it. If lag issues arise, all observers must leave the game. Staff Members or Casting Partners of SCV Rush may observe any match at any time.
5. Replays - All replays must be saved by both players for possible future investigation. Failure to comply the first time will result in a warning. A second failure will result in disqualification. By default, replays are not uploaded anywhere.
6. Disconnects - If a player disconnects within the first 5 minutes, the game will be restarted. After 5 minutes, the disconnected player forfeits the game. If there are any objections to this rule (a player was the decided victor before 5 minutes, for example) players may contact a tournament admin, who will review the replay and determine whether a regame will be played. However, this exception may be applied only once during a round.
7. Stalemates - In the event of a stalemate, the game will be replayed. The full in-game stalemate timer must elapse before players may start a regame.
8. Manner – In-game chat should be limited to the initial good luck, and then good game, expressions. You can of course chat besides that, but after one player expresses the wish to concentrate on the game, the other one must comply. Any communication containing hateful, racial, sexual or otherwise offending content will result in a warning; failure to rectify the bad manner will then result in disqualification. The tournament admins reserve the right to judge what is offensive and what is not.
9. Stream Cheating, Hacking, Illegal Advantages - Players may stream their games if they wish. However, any player abusing an illegal advantage over his opponent will be instantly disqualified from the current event and banned from two future SCV Rush events. The tournament admins reserve the right to decide what determines this illegal practice. 10. Opponent Accusations - Most of our tournaments are skill limited and therefore there is a possibility of smurfing. It is your duty to report weird accounts, however a continuous whining and accusations will result in a warning (followed by disqualification from the tournament). In general, if a player is accused of smurfing twice from different opponents, the admin staff investigates the issue further.
11. Check Your Opponent's Race - We've had a large number of cases recently where players entered the tournament without being in an appropriate league (e.g. Bronze players tried to play in Plat/Dia). The easiest way to fix it is you checking your opponent's profile before you begin to play and if you see a wrong league, contact the tour administrator immediately.
12. 20 Ladder Games Played - The league criterion used for our skilled limited tournament is sometimes abused by playing only a handful of matches and claiming the rest is played in "customs". Therefore, unless you don't have at least 20 ladder games in the last 5 days, you put yourself at risk of being removed from the tournament should any issues arose.
You are still eligible to sign up and play but this rule will be used against you should you intend to abuse our tournaments.
Miscellaneous
+ Show Spoiler +- Random matches throughout the tournament, as well as the finals, will be casted on our stream.
- You may be contacted by our Content Representative and asked to provide a replay for the purpose of the Video Replay Analysis category. You may reject this proposal if you wish.
- Any questions? Address them either to the comment section below or contact us directly at info@scvrush.com, and we will answer within 24 hours.

| I had a great time at this tourney! Even though I lost, the bracket was set up well and the games were well casted. The admins of the tournament even let me register 10 minutes before the tournament started! Overall, 10/10 performance by scvrush. |

This is definitely a great tourney to join. You know, actually at my skill level and everything! Well run, and lots of fun. Even if I lost to a Terran...Last edit: 2012-03-27 11:11:49 |

I lost my very first match to an excellent roach timing push just as I was about to shove my Uber Ups build into overdrive. I was not expecting the silver 1v1 with 25 wins to do that O.O
Essentially I saw that I executed my build sub-par in about 4 specific ways; I am confident that the next time that scenario comes around I will either win or lose much less terribly.
I will be back next week! |

| Love this weekly tournament. It's incredibly friendly with great players and very fun & informative casting. Even though the games are "only" up to Gold, the matches are still really entertaining. Thanks for all the effort you guys put into it! |

| I had a lot of fun playing in this tournament. The admin's were very friendly and I played fairly well for silver but unfortunately lost to rines rauders in the end. Looking over the whole tournament I probably had the most fun during the game that which was casted. It made me nervous bet it was awesome getting to see myself play afterwords. Im definitely coming back for another try. |

Winner's Statement
SaGeX The SCVRush BSG Tournament was the first Starcraft tournament I ever played in; I actually decided to play on a whim a few hours earlier. I could not have asked for a better experience for my first tournament - the staff were well organized, the games ran without much delay, the rules were clear and well followed, and the brackets were updated in real time.
In addition, all the players were very friendly, and I enjoyed some very competitive matches. My favorite part of the tournament was definitely the streaming; I really enjoyed being able to watch my game afterwards being commentated by outside observers, and the comments they made will definitely help me improve my gaming.
Overall, it was a great tournament, and I will definitely try to participate again in the upcoming weeks.
