MKP is #1 international ELO, foreign tournaments only count towards international ELO, also Koreans don't show up in the sidebar for international for some reason.

What do you expect them to do, let all the other teams get good players and not expand their roster?
look this is exactly why NA doesn't produce any good players
it's just because liquid and EG are so stupid and ratch buy koreans than invest into any talent whatsoever... even those teams started to believe that NA is naturally untalented - just stupid
and then look at mouz/empire who are both doing great with only having 1 korean between both of them and that korean has been living in america for a long time and didn't come to them from the korean server so he was basically a "foreign talent" eventhough he wasn't a foreigner

yeah mouz is the only top team without a korean that is left pretty much (we still have dignitas but dream is chinese as far as i know so that kind does count doesn't it? and then we have rox who are really good but mostly competing on the 'EU server so they don't get that much attention) |

TL is not an " american " team, they are based in the EU because that's where the majority of their old core lives and also where Nazgul lives, but now I would argue they are an international team having 2 players from NA, 4 from EU, 3 from Korea.
What have Beasty or Happy done?
What have Bigs or Heromarine done?
Why should a huge and popular team like TL sign players with no results in this day and age? I would say being a player on Team Liquid is one of the biggest honors in the sc2 world.
They signed Taeja because he is a skilled, young player full of limitless potential, that will bring great results for the team in individual and team leagues alike, it just makes sense.
You can dislike it all you want but this move is amazing for TL as a team, they needed another Terran player and they got one of the best. |

I hope he can help out JinrO, so he can finally be a bit more stable and improve again. Unfortunately with such a Terran beast, I cannot see Liquid placing JinrO in clanwars anymore, at least for now. This makes me a bit sad, because I like JinrO, but..
I love TaeJa so.. TaeJa fighting :-)! I still cannot believe he left SlayerS and it feels kind of akward to have Liquid`TaeJa, but I will get used to it ! Makes me like TeamLiquid line-up a bit better, because even though I think they have great players, I only really like TLO / ret / JinrO. |
