Why does everyone say 'And what about MKP's 11 rax producing units?'
Well technically it is 8 since 3 of them were burning at the dc. What about Partings gateways & robos? Are we just presuming that Parting has a stroke and can't press w?
And MKP's superior micro really matters when there are 18 chargelots & 6 stalkers against like what? 5 marauders and 10 marines? Come-on guys. This isn't rocket science. If you have pro-gamers like HerO saying Parting's win, you really gotta take a good look in the mirror and drop your fanboy-ism.
The only way MKP could of won is if Parting actually had a stroke, and even then if his last action was a-move towards MKP's base he still would of lost. |

Imo there shouldve been a bo3 with one up for parting. Wouldve been the fairest choice, but i guess noone considered it back then  |

| MKP disconnected when Parting had a significant advantage. They had a regame which MKP won and then he killed the rest of Startale as well. Obviously Parting/Startale fans feel he should have been awarded the game due to his lead, but MKP/Prime fans think MKP could still have done something insane to get out of it. |

| I'm not a Startale or Parting fan, i still find that decision unfair, as you could read on the faces of the other Startale players, they weren't happy with it either. Considering there was most of Blizzard there, did they realize it was their fault for removing lan ? |

| I am deeply frustrated by this outcome. Yes, Marinking is better than Bomber, Squirle, and even Curious. So it was crucial to take him out and Parting almost did it. |

Anybody who is anybody says PartinG was going to crush him. All pro players we've heard from, high level masters I see posting here, and even MKP himself. Only the most ardent fanboys could think otherwise.

it's unfair. You won then have to replay on MKPs favorite map and he can make corrections. If anything they should have had a random map or BO3. Or just get rid of judges since they are useless and call every drop a regame since heavy advantage means nothing. |

| I don't like the way MKP used knowledge from the previous DC-match to plot the perfect timing before Parting's colossi tech came out to win the second game. That metagame was a bit frustrating to watch, MKP didn't know about that timing the first game through. Last edit: 2012-04-08 19:26:30 |

If you refer to Violet vs MKP rematch, then you are one of the most ardent fanboys of Marineking.
If you go as far as pulling out a DC at HSC where he was sure ahead, but you compare it with a
3marauders+6vikings
8 raxes in the main, 3 burning and next to Parting's army AND reinforcement pylon
vs
18 zealots
8 HTs
6 stalkers
Warp Prism in the main of MKP and 21 warpgates

Yes, PartinG had a clear advantage, but that doesn't entitle him to a win. Regame was the best option.
If you mean that MKP could still resist for a long time then yes, that's true. Korean Terrans rarely gg when they still have more than 50 supply left. But this doesn't mean MKP still had a chance. 3 rax were already given up, 3 other rax were completely isolated from his main because they were at his 3rd base, and with the warp prism he could warp in on top of the other rax. Yes MKP could have built raxes in the upper right corner, but chance of winning would be 0%.
