I think I need to play some mafia. /in if you will have me.
As funny as it would be killing Ace day 1 by default, it's not wise. Mafia has 3 kp and I'm sure they can spare one for ace in case he is town. Unless we believe him to be scum it's retarded to lynch him. If you sissies are so afraid of his scum game you can always vig him night 2-3 or lynch his ass later. Today we kill scum (i.e. elect me as captain). I'll kill whoever I feel like and you guys can thank me later.

Also everyone add me on skype pls. sandro.maculan

LOL sup I thought about the coolest plan ever. Let's see if the host approves =)

Capiche? Zentor, why so serious I just felt the need to show that they misinterpreted my post as a "scumslip". I always feel the need to clarify when I accidentally post something that is misleading/vague or when somebody misinterprets my post. Thanks for the vote, Michael! A vote for me is a vote for the death of a scum(probably Ace)
Zentor if you are town you know it's best if you stay away from killing people, specially early.

My plan went through the drain =(

I would create an anonymous QT and people would all claim their role/items there. That would give us a very good idea of the setup and allow us to coordinate everyone anonymously, like vig #1 kill this dude vig #2 kill that dude DT #1 check X, etc. Pretty broken.

@maverick Fuck you got me. I'm trying to SNEAKILY get you to add me on skype muahahaha. So that's the reason I got on your "don't vote list". Makes perfect sense. For real dude?
I think I need to inform you guys that after my last game I got rid of my retardness town tell, so I'll be lynching into dumb posters without a single sliver of guilt. So far that applies to michaelthe and maverick.
How is that agreeing with ace when he suggested we random? Also random is only a good option if you don't believe we can find a person who most people agree is likely town. Also the voting process alone is a good source of information. I'll tell people who I'll lynch as soon as I decide. I don't promise I'll reveal anything that comes with been captain if I deem it wise.
Is this the first time you played mafia, however? How is willingness to talk to anyone or trying to get plans into motion a scum trait or untrustworthy? Also that's the literal opposite of sneaky. Your reasoning just doesn't make sense, first time with pms or not. You just got basically anyone who ever proposed to be captain and found a random reason for them to be a bad vote.
Point me to a game where I told people to claim to me where I was scum. I'm also not bullshitting, I CAN "confirm" some people as I have already. Also I never put in this much effort as scum. Ever. I've been busy in pm land all night. Yeah, that's right, I'm townie as fuck.
@strongandbig Do you realise that anyone the "transparency" thing is 100% bullshit? You can't ever know if the person is telling the truth. If Mafia gets elected they will either tell you because it's irrelevant or lie to you if it's useful and you have no way of telling which. If town gets it, it's better if they don't share it with the whole thread if it somehow endangers their effectiveness. So in the end you have to vote for whoever you think is town and decent. Promises of transparency regarding the role don't mean shit.
I do that every pm game and I was scum in only one of them. The one I was scum I talked to only 2 people mostly and never tried to contact anyone else. If I pm'ed you of all people to try to figure out stuff that should tell you something.
I'm not lying. I'm not asking for information with nothing in return. I did find a mechanic that can confirm some players. If anyone wants to talk to me about it I can explain in skype.
Let me throw this out there. I have a few claims already. The power roles in this game are most likely unique due to nature of the theme. There are back-up roles. This is a nightmare for mafia if I can "confirm" more people.
You are all free to vote and tell me who you think is scum, but if in the end the majority decides to lynch someone I think is town, I'll still trust my read more than the collective sum of scum + clueless townies + a few people making sense. And you should too. I'm not perfect, but I'm damn reliable most of the time. You can check the recent game c9++ where I claimed mason day1 and decided the lynch out of the blue, the whole town sheeped me blindly and we got scum killed. I'm saying that statistically I can get more scum lynch day1 then if there is a vote influenced by scum and misconceptions.
That's exactly what I said in the post above yours. Of course townies should act like townies and say who they think is scum and why in a regular basis. It helps everyone get reads and is the standard. That doesn't mean that given the choice I'll lynch what the majority decides, if my read goes against it. That's actually the easiest shit ever for scum to do. Get rid of all responsibility that come with the role. As town what is expected of you is take advantage of this opportunity to get a lynch 0% influenced by scum and try to deliver a devastating blow to their team quite early. Day 1 lynches normally end up being townie because most of the people have no grasp on who is scum or not and scum team is free to influence the lynch if they ever need to or lay back when town is on the wrong track. If you take away that influence and let a townie who has good reads most of the time decide the lynch by himself, suddenly day 1 scum lynch becomes much more likely.

That's in response to coag btw.
@coag and jackal I hear you guys have a pretty good read on each other normally. Could you guys be so kind to provide some insight into each other's alignment?
