Hey guys, are the lights on the upper right portion above the num pad supposed to be on all of the time? They flash on for a few seconds when i reboot my computer, but other than that they never come on.
When i was trying to get it out of the box, i think i yanked on the cord a little bit, so maybe that could have caused it some damage that led to the lights never coming on? Kind of worried. What information do the lights (i think they are numbers) give you?
Thanks |

| Those are num lock, caps lock, and scroll lock lights. If any of these 3 features are active the corresponding light turns on. Click one. |

| And are you going to contribute to the thread at all? Or are you just going to insult people for not making an "insightful post" which is ironic because your post was much less "insightful" than his. |

On my Das Keyboard sometimes the lights will stay on, even though the computer is completely off.
Kinda spooky. |

It's possessed, you should contact a local pastor and get him to come over to prayer to the evil demon keyboard.
Don't forget to drown it in holy water. Last edit: 2012-04-10 13:38:11 |

That is a pretty big turn off actually. I'm sure you tried re-installing the drivers, maybe the OP should give that a try |

| Why is that a turn off at all? Are you scared by keyboards flashing their lights? o.o |

the das keybaord has no drivers. it's plug and play. i say the op should just explain the situation to the company. |

Lol its pretty rare. I can't do it on purpose. It is kinda funny though.
I think it usually happens right after I plug the computer into the wall. After moving it somewhere.
Das keyboards have drivers, particularly for the USB passthrough, but nothing you have to visit the site for or use a disk or anything. Thats more Windows doing the work for you than anything else.
My keyboard only has one USB connector BTW, its kind of a legacy model.Last edit: 2012-04-10 14:22:27 |
