Lol these are funny, alcohol, weed, porn, general vulgarity. They should just add a non-rated-in-regards-to-online-interaction disclaimer and allow 'em all

Kinda reminds me of some of the silly names my friends used for D2.

One of my friends named a sorc "PUSH"

I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT NAME WASN'T TAKEN.

Another one was hanging around with us, and wanted to make a MF paladin solely for mephisto runs.

He called him "MFisto," I always found that one funny for some reason.

Seems like Blizzard hasn't failed to deliver again. I mean what the fuck is wrong with people nowadays.
Everybody is being fucked hard by the government and richass corporations everyday yet everyone is so concerned about the language. I understand 5% of the names could be banned, but other 95% are just prove how ridiculous the world became.

I think I can address why they are banning some of these names

1) The names that involve trademarked properties/famous people are being banned because they don't want any crap from Nabisco's lawyers when witchdoctor oreo starts making saucy videos or something and now some guy they know nothing about is popping up along side their cookies in google. Also, an oreo is a slang term for someone with racially mixed parents, so in this case, oreo gets double-stuffed.

2) Konig, the german word for king, is possibly banned because it has the letters nig all in a row, not because they don't wan't people named king (in German). The filter is probably really loose in regards to "nig" because it's an easy one to tack onto lots of different words, and its easy to offend people. Its also possible that koenig is slang for penis, like in Austin Powers: Goldmember [Goldmember gets hit in the crotch]: "Ach, right in the konigie(sp)" (The charachter is dutch, I believe konigie(sp?) would translate to "little king". Sure sounds like a dick reference to me.

3) In regards to 1), consider, with the growth of e-sports it is important not to allow your big draw players to use trademarks in their name because in this case, unlike 1), there is enough money involved that maybe Nabisco wants a piece of the action from Grand Master Oreo, since he is "trading on their name". So Blizzard makes sure beforehand that any of these guys that get big for whatever reason do so with a name that won't get them angry cease and decist letters, because they banned those names.

they really want this kids rating to pass through in every country. Writing german in a game with an english based filter is annoying >.< . Was a funny read now though. Best part is, this List is now on the internet ... i think i learned alot of new words that are used in other countries.
