Whatever race wins doesnt really matter that much, but PvP is the least entertaining mirror-MU.
Well then hope for a PvT finals with one of the Toss fan favorites coming out on top? Personally I don't really care what happens in the rest of the tourney as long as the games are entertaining, and one of the three StarTaleQ Tosses comes out on top in the end. PartinG is probably the most hyped to win it right now, but my gut says Squirtle. Only time will tell though.
If Squirtle wins, I want him to change his ID to ST_Blastoise for the lulz.

Naniwas PvP is good enough for him to reach the finals if he gets past MVP.

Should add this to OP.
In terms of the potential for the most epic final, it's Squirtle/MVP. Squirtle made his name for himself a year ago by beating MVP in the GSTL and that game showed the potential he's finally reaching right now. Would be MVP's first final against a Protoss and give him a chance to win his 4th GSL.
In terms of storyline, even if it's PvP, Squirtle vs. Parting could be interesting. The two friends and temmates battling for the Protoss crown and to become a legend by being the first Protoss champion in over 400 days.
Also Hero/Squirtle are Royal Roaders, so that's a good storyline, too. All match-ups have a pretty good storyline behind them, but hopefully if it is PvP, it's better than the last GSL PvP final we had. |

I'm a little biased ... i just want a pvp finals even if every game is a 3 minute cannon rush ... Just once, just to get that horse off the back of the gsl. (im half asleep so i dont think thats the phrase but whatever lol)
