Day9 is not a villain, if anything, he is a victim
He often claims that he misses somethings that we want to see in star2, he even made a video about it (see Day9 baseball vs frisbees on youtube). He just moved on because he wants to make his voice count in the development of Star2, as a fan. I too am an elitist, since 2006 to be honest, Savior vs Nal_rA finals are my favourite still then, fair to say that tl mods do not like me for being easily offensive towards star2 sometimes, but we gotta try to make our voice louder, and claim for the implement of these mechanics in star2, Blizzard removed them not for ignorance, but on purpose, now with 2 expansions coming, it is time for us to ask for patrol attacking, moving shots, stacking. To say that i will play starcraft 2 is a lie, but i will try to address these issues anytime, whatever it can be read so that maybe things will just get better
I think most of what you asks actually got changed, since the units responds lot faster and smarter to your commands. I really dont think so patrol move is needed at all. As for stacking, i agree with you, moving shots, i dont know, with the units being controlled lot easier, i 'am not sure if needed at all, definitely would raise the skill level, but dont know if needed at all

this is the mutalisk micro, with unit stacking an amazing harass technique, for not requiring it do deccelerate when you order your mutalisks to attack , the skilled player was able to harass targets with great precision without having to stop, this features allowed some of the most impressive skirmishes in BW and skilled zerg players had a way to cripple the enemy's economy real bad.
I play BW myself, i know what these abilities are, i just dont feel other than stacking, they has a place at all in sc2

ty for quoting that. I have wanted to know what people currently devoted to SC2 but were from a decade worth of BW feel about it. I won't say I want to see Day9 cry, but I am glad he still considers BW a big part of himself.
Wow, i would never call Day9 a sellout, Day9 loved BW so much he always dreamed to have a USA BW scene like the Korean did have. When SC2 was announced it was like a new beginning, a new chance to try to have what the koreans had. i think thats why he suppors sc2 so much and i dont blame him. of course he trusted blindly in blizzard that they could do a deserving sequel to BW, sc2 is a good game but not epic like BW.
Cmon guys, did you all forget when we the BW comunnity were awake until 5am in the morning including Day9 via streaming to watch the first Flash vs JD final?, i still remember that day. thats how i know BW is epic, i watched over 100 sc2 games and i would never stay to 5am, to watch any final of that game. is not worth it.

I know that this is horribly of topic, but the Jaedong fan within me just can't resist posting about this... That clip is rather amazing and unique I think in that it shows a game from 2007 (iirc) with a style of micro that has never been done better afterwards by younger players.

They talked almost a hour about OSL finals between Jangbi and Fantasy on SOTG. Whenever theres a BW topic comes up, day9 gets excited right away. You should atleast check out what you are talking about before saying something

in all honesty , i really dont think bw will die , yes the bonjwas will be leaving , and all the tournements are going to die , but this will just cause the scene to go underground and hopefully someday it will resurface for all of us forigners to watch T_T ( one can only hope) , just my 2 cents , i mean its possible right ?
