Discussing a potential problem in the first posts of the game is not a waste of space, it´s there to get the discussion going. Calling out a few players is also nothing wrong with. FYI to me it looks like prplhz is playing exactly as he usually does as town.
You on the other hand are grasping at straws, you make a weak case on prplhz to divert attention from yourself, and you are generally not acting town (why DID you vote yourself?). It´s very, very early in the game, and only about a third of the players have shown themselves so far, but your play so far scream scum.

A potential problem? Whether or not a hydra signs its posts is a potential problem?! No, it's one small thing you mention in your first post to ensure that it happens.
showing that what he did was a sign of lying != grasping at straws
making case on prphlz != trying to divert attention
generally not acting town= you can't think of any actual reasons
You say I wanted to divert attention from myself by making a case on prphlz, but the reasons that I voted for myself is to draw attention to myself.

Much of this I agree with, though not the last sentence. Zentor does not scream scum to me, at least not yet, and following this course through likely only nets us a dead townie.
As you say yourself, only 1/3 of the players have even posted, so no need to be hasty.
In other news, hydras should definitely be signing their posts. Also, masons need to be smart with their claims. I don't think I've ever actually played as town in a game with masons, so I'm not sure what the best protocol is. Presumably you need to somehow breadcrumb who your partner is in case you die, yet not make it obvious enough to draw hits. Living to or near lylo with masons is a huge deal.
Ace, do you fear the masons in this game(if they do exist that is)?  |

Actually before the game setup was finished I PM'd wbg about a possible breaking strategy that existed. It's still powerful but not game breaking. It's a small enough setup that if both Masons would have claimed Day 2 after an outed Cop claim the Mafia would have a hard time winning.
With one KP and an outed investigation:
2 Masons (confirmed only to each other, both highly likely Town. 1 death confirms both)
1 claimed Cop
A possible medic exists.
An innocent/guilty investigation (doesn't really matter which yet).
You'd have at least 3 possible innocents and only 1 KP to stop them with a prot role in the background. Town uses it's numbers advantage to just outlast the Scum as the other pool of players contains at least 2 Scum no matter what the original investigation flipped. There were also some other things that made it more brutal:
If the Cop investigated either of the Masons and they all claimed, a Scum counterclaim doesn't help.
If the Cop finds Scum on the first try then the Masons claiming is almost surely legit as the chances of Scum claiming Mason at that point is suicide.
But it depended on the willingness of the Cop to claim, and the competence of the Masons to claim even without the possibility of a Cop claim. |

In case it wasn't sufficiently clear originally, the OP's voting system section has been clarified.
All votes must be placed in this thread in the format ##vote playername or ##vote: playername and all vote changes must be done with ##unvote.
The player who holds the majority of the votes (n/2 rounded up if odd or n/2 + 1 if even) at the end of every spin/day phase will be eliminated and their role will be revealed. If majority is not met, no lynch will occur. You may vote for a no lynch.

Please don´t tell me you are town, and don´t tell me you think I am town, the first I can´t trust, the second only make me a target for scum.
Explain, why is MrZentor town? If he acts scum and disrupts the thread, that makes him look scum. I know most scum wouldn´t start the game like he does, because it´s too obvious, but that can´t be a defence of those who actually do. |

Agree. Why are you calling everyone who's posting town right now? Why do you feel the need to drop the town-bomb so early? You know yourself that telling people your townreads without a reason (a reason to tell people, not the reason why you think so in the first place) is not something that's helping town at all because of what Forumite said.
Therefore I'd like to hear the reasoning behind that instead of trying to guess what's going on in VE-land. |

It was mostly me disagreeing with Forumite's case. Zentor seems like a lurky-scum kinda player, and doubt as scum he'd enter the game voting for himself. That's kinda an advanced scum move and (no offense Zentor) not one I see MrZentor making. I could have just said "I don't agree with a MrZentor vote" but the way I said it gets more people to trust me faster...or so I thought. 
No, it was just my entry into the game after drinking at my sister's bday party guys, nothing to see here.
However, let's try that again with less alcohol in my bloodstream :D

I think he voted himself to try and give the appearance of him not caring about surviving himself, to show that he´s playing risky, like a town role that can rely on others for his win. He tried to act nonchalant about the game with his first post, not nervous and guilty. When prplhz and I called him out that voting himself was weird, he got nervous, defensive, and did an OMGUS on prplhz, trying to build a case out of nothing to divert attention from himself. |

Yeah figured. Still, what was the reason you told people you think he's town. I don't have a problem with you disagreeing with forumites case, hell I do as well but I don't run around telling everyone I think he's a townie when there's no need to stop the discussion like that.
If he is a reasonable lynch candidate and you think he's town, be my guest and tell everyone you think the guy is town, but now? He's on 2 votes, one of those is his own vote (wtf?). Why not chill a bit, see how he reacts nevertheless and how everyone else is reacting (people appearing with cheap reasoning or whatever) or are you already so sure about your 12 hours into the game read that you do no longer need to read him anymore?
I agree with you, I just don't agree with you posting like that when there was no need to step in like that telling people to stop accusing each other just because you think he's town.

Because he did react - by Forumite's estimation he reacted poorly and by my estimation he reacted in the manner I'd expect. In any case, I don't think he's a good vote and won't support it. *shrug* Do I tell you how to play? Oh wait...yeah...I do.......
