Hi, I am trying to watch the DH stream but everytime it loads up to a black screen with the stream title and after that I get a gray screen with We're sorry Adobe Flash plugin crash blabla.
After some googling for help I have updated my drivers, firefox, and checked for updates for my flash plugin but it was already up-to-date.
I am kind of at a loss what to do next and I really want to watch DreamHack. Please, could anyone help me out?

| It doesn't really mean your browser is shitty. Flash has been crashing on me and couple of other people i know too. Flash is just shitty in general. We've tried chrome, firefox, and ie. it's just flash. |

I still have this same issue now.. I can open streams succesfully within a different browser though. I've tried playing flash games and youtube and they work within firefox so maybe the problem is mostly twitch.
Typing this I also tried a different streaming service in the form of own3d.tv and this works too.. Should I reinstall firefox or go to twitch forums or something? |

| Hey, I had similiar problems but under Chrome browser. Try opening stream in "incognito mode", not problems for me since. |

| Same problem here. I tried ff, ie, chrome, deinstalled, reinstalled flash dumped all cockies + flash cookies. Tryed different settings in flash and even have done a system backup. Nothing works. And the problem is only with twitch.tv other streams works fine. Kinda annoying. |

| Might be Kaspersky. I remember having KasperSky open, and it would crash my flash so much. Now I have uninstalled it and twitch.tv is fine now! |

@Absenn I don't really know how to enter incognito mode from FF @Nachtwind damn that sucks.. :/ I guess I'll make a thread on the twitch forums or try to contact them at least. @Reflect I don't have that program on my computer.
Thanks all for the replys! |

| Bojas, as far as I am aware, Incognito mode is just the same as "Start Private Browsing" in Firefox. I occasionally have issues with Firefox lagging and sometimes (or perhaps it actually IS always but I just hadn't realised) Flash is open in at least one tab. Last edit: 2012-04-27 09:34:32 |

Flash is only good for one thing. That is starcraft. |

Newest flash activeX and g.drivers. Also private browsing doesn´t solve the problem. |

Having a related problem so I'll use this topic as it comes up with relevant searches:
if anyone has something to help with, after updating flash to the newest version 11.3.300.257, I can't watch any twitch stream in full screen, it crashes flash instantly. Can view them in the normal small size normally. I searched around Twitch tech support, but the solutions there didn't work and I could not sign up to post there, as neither FF nor IE allowed me to enter birthdate on their travesty of a signup form..
So, newest flash, newest FF, tried IE too, they all crash upon entering full screen, but only on twitch, own3d and other sites that use flash work just fine.
Allowing flash to store data on comp, done, didn't work Disable shockwave player on FF, wasn't active anyway, didn't work
No idea what twitch does so different to everyone else that it simply don't work :\ |
