STX Soul progamer Calm has gained attention because of his babysitting skills.
On 24th April, Calm visited a Seoul infant center in Yeoksam-dong to take care of newborns awaiting adoption. Although Kim Yoonhwan was thought to be a chobo at this, he showed unbelievable calm in taking care of the infants such that the instructors working at the shelter asked him "how about coming every day?", in an attempt to scout such babysitting talent.
Babies under 3 months old are not able to hold up their necks so they need special care. So typically, nurses at the center don't entrust such babies to volunteers, especially male volunteers, who don't often get the opportunity to take care of these newborns.
Therefore, Calm's excellent composure and instinctive feeling earned applause from his teacher. After just one demonstration by the nurse, Calm was instantly able to burp the babies, among other surprising skills he displayed. Calm's teacher couldn't believe that he had not raised any babies before. Even crying babies fell asleep in Calm's arms while he took watchful care over them.
When the volunteer session ended, the nurses were reluctant to let Calm go, telling him "you can come again whenever you want". One of the babies even held on to Calm's finger, reluctant to part with him.
Calm: "Taking care of babies was not as hard as I first thought. I was worried that if I did not burp them properly they would throw-up but I'm relieved that everything went smoothly. I think I will make a good father in the future."
Calm's volunteer session is part of the STX Group's volunteer campaign. 2 weeks ago, hyvaa, Trap, Dear, Last, ToSsGirL and 3 STX Special Force players also spent some time volunteering at this infant center.
I just translated the article on Calm but there's also one on Bogus. Bogus also went to the center today, together with Calm. According to DES he did really well in caring for the babies, having had a lot of experience taking care of infants and young children, since he is the oldest of 7 sons son of 7 children. He knew how to change diapers, pacify crying babies and feed them with milk formula etc.
