I watched a little bit last night and you are right that they are both quite the characters. I too will probably have it on a secondary monitor just to see their progress. One thing that I don't like though is their overuse of "bro" so I might just have it muted. Hah!

I am glad there are people like you in the world.

First thing I thought listening to those vids where , this guy knows his games and seems really intelegent. Then the "bro's" started and I couldnt watch it with a streight face anymore.

Can't tune in because I can't stand the bro's. And I see no point in watching a stream with no sound.
I will run through all of Normal in Single Player first, just so I get all the lore and rp'ness ofc! Then I'll probably start tuning into streams and checking who will become worlds first etc etc
Don't cry blood, the world doesn't revolve around you

If you play 16 hours a day, how do you pay your bills?
Can I borrow some ambition?

Someone else does it!

Not gonna watch it or even care about it. I want to play myself, that's what it's all about. And I don't see any reason to compare anything since my ideology is to enjoy things myself.

He has a job that he is just taking time off of right now. He's hoping that his stream and youtube videos will catch attention (and they will if he really gets world 1st inferno clear) so he can quit his job in the future.

Ah Kripparrian. I was on the tiny shit server (Ysondre) when his guild Exodus transferred over. I only pvp'd at that point, and Kripp was one of the few guys in his guild who I actually liked (and one of the few who's actually decent at arena...). Good guy from everything I've seen.

Best memory was running into him in 2v2 and seeing my hunter buddy 3 shot him. I guess he wore the wrong gear into the match.

Best of luck to him, and like people have said, if you're going to be playing that much with a monster computer then you might as well stream.

Kripp is a baller, and his Exodus videos on WoW were cool. I got to raid casually with Exodus on Ysondre for a little while. Kinda wish I wasn't bad back then, though.

Kripp's content is high quality and underrated.

edit: unfortunately he started saying bro LOL

All of this talk about having the full version of the game basically completely figured out based on 13 levels of beta and some ability and equipment modifier descriptions from various websites all compiled into 4 spreadsheets just seems ridiculous.

Most of the tactics in this game will be situation based, and the situations will come from what affixes the unique mobs happen to have in nightmare/hell/inferno.

Kripp was the first person to do the Iron Man challenge in WoW, and he even started a few days behind. People doubting him dedication and skill don't quite know what he's all about.

Regardless of anything, I won't be watching, I'll be playing it myself.

Man 16 hours is crazy! I think I'll probably that much on the first day as well though haha. I was planning on streaming it as well. Not so much to get viewers (I don't get much anyway) but mainly to keep it as a log of leveling my first character. Could be fun watching it later on.

Once you hit level 60 all that is left is to fine tune your build and grind for high level items.

Watching his stream will be a great way to pick up on the newest changes in the D3 metagame
"En taro adun, Executor."

He doesn't bind it because he's a melee character, and there is no need for it. He even mentions in his bindings video that it would be a good idea to bind if you're a ranged class.

And please stop using "must be trolling," because you obviously don't understand why he wouldn't need a move binding.

While I love watching SC2, I dont see myself watching much D3. I will be playing a ton of the game, but it isnt like SC2 where watching the pros is awesome because its a level I will never play at. I should be able to survive in inferno.

Let me explain to you, and to him perhaps if he is reading this thread, why force move is the second most important bind in the game. If you played beta you must have noticed the gigantic hit box on monsters as well as their relatively fast movement already in the kindergarten bash of Act 1 normal.

Now suppose you are at 5% life and need to get the fuck out of wherever you are, or there is a health globe you need to pick up (spawned by your ranged partner) or you just want to move rapidly and precisely like any skilled player would.

When there are monsters adjacent to you you cannot move with "hold move" command because you will click on a monster hitbox and attack. If the screen is also filled with fast moving monsters, as it most certainly will be already in lower difficulties let alone inferno, clicking any point on the ground you consider "empty", if you can even find such a point since enemies are clearly seen swarming all over the screen in almost every gameplay video, incurs the risk of accidentally clicking the hitbox of a monster running, leaping or teleporting towards you. Even if you are melee, you will take at most a couple of steps (that's an extremely generous assumption), towards the monster and the place you in fact want to go before it reaches you, which will result in you attacking the monster and dying.

In the video, Krip sounds like a guy who considers himself "leet" and "plays to win". How he could have missed such an obvious requisite for decent character control (while custom binding stuff like the skill panel) is beyond me.

I hope this makes things just a little bit clearer. Unless you want to be a sloppy player with bad mechanics, you will bind this key and learn to use it, and fast.

The 'not wanting to lose my job and have no money' binding works pretty well for me.

Then you use your leap ability, and jump on the health globe, or jump out of harms way. There is a thousand different ways you can escape and get out of harms way as a melee character, and there is absolutely no need for a move key when your main attack is a melee attack. The hitboxes on monsters don't cover half the screen and are in fact very small and very precise. They have to be, because there will be a lot of monsters on screen, so I don't know what you're imagining with those huge hitboxes. Without very precise hitboxes, this game wouldn't be playable as a melee class.

There is absolutely no need for a separate move key when your melee attack does the exact same thing.
