Like two good storms entire game.
Parting pulled that off for the following reasons:
- STC not killing the fourth
- Lost units in rallying
- Kept retreating from an army made of 1 archon, 1 immortal and 5 zealots.
- Actually pulled away from pressuring Parting and then at a point in the game Parting moved up 6 high templars with storm energy ready.
TheSTC should have 1a'ed about 5-8 minutes before that actually ended straight into the natural. So many terrans just aren't decisive enough and feel like they have to beat a 80 supply player with 200 supply. |

Well TheSTC played pretty damn well in the midgame. Kind of up until he decided to fight in the middle and/or retreat instead of killing off both the third and later the fourth Nexus.

lol'ing hard at the kids over this past weekend saying Parting's PvT was overrated just because of his MLG performance.
I really want to go and find every post about Parting being overrated now and quote it or PM the person that said it and just laugh in their face. ^_^

You read that totally wrongly. The most important part was to get those HT with energy while the Stc no longer produced ghost, then it's just an easy fight with some aoe while the terran hasn't the proper counter. Macro didn't mattered that much.
Also you don't really want 80 workers as Terran late game. To even have a chance vs lategame toss you need +20 army supply. StC macro slipped a bit but he was trying to micro across the map. Sigh zlots. I guess this is what Zerg feels like when they win a fight vs T but then mules land and they have to face another 50 marines. Can't wait till HotS is all I can say at least... |
