Of all the teams in Starcraft 2, SlayerS needs the least introduction. Their iconic blue jersey strikes fear in the hearts of their opponents. The GESL is proud to bring 3 members of the Slayers team to Pomona to compete in their 24 player invitational tournament. Ryung, Alicia and Clide are all first class players, each being GSL Code S veterans, they will pose quite the obstacle for all the other competitors.

This is going to be awesome. Looking forward to seeing qxc again of all people. His play is pretty entertaining even though he claims to not care about being entertaining, and his sole focus being winning.

Really hoping qxc has a good showing, haven't seen him in a long time.

You should come out to the event and see it live and in person!

There are no available photos of him to use which show him in his SlayerS colors because he has remained in Korea for the significant majority of his progaming career. At any rate, the banner itself has a huge SlayerS logo, making it clear that these are SlayerS players that are going to be in attendance.

See you there!

If you click on the clide photo posted in the op it leads to his wiki page, which has a pic of him in his slayers uniform.
You should change it because brokenlol is the watch dog for outdated player photos.

That image is copyrighted by GOMtv, and even Liquipedia's use isn't authorized, something that we are starting to crack down on in that wiki. You can't just go around using any image you want, especially if you are running events; the results can be ugly. Believe me, I know.
Additionally, the resolution and quality of that image are so low that they are improper for any use besides piracy.
Finally this entire thing is a derail, and not responsive to what I said above:

Because of where the GESL staff came from, we want to do some things a bit differently from most tournaments - one of which is respect for photographers.
The SC2 scene suffers from general disrespect for copyright. Often times, tournaments will just pull photos from Google or Liquipedia, without bothering to ask for permission or even giving proper credit. That practice isn't legal, and more importantly, that aint right. For the photographers whom care about their craft, their pictures are their babies. Given what they do for the scene, asking for permission is a courtesy they deserve. Photographers are important part of the scene too!
The GESL staff are pretty much the whole SoCal scene, with quite a few photographers in our mist. So very early on, we decided that all the pictures we use, we'll request explicit permissions from the photographers in question. We credit all the photographers (in the topic) and avoid removing watermarks when possible.
Everyone we approached have been extraordinarily nice so far. Of course, it does means we don't get to use some pictures we'd like to use sometimes, but that's okay. Respect to important part of the community is worth the extra legwork.
