Yeah. I've done 3rax when it was still considered good, and Protoss started doing 1 Gate FE. The timing push comes at 7 minutes and if Protoss holds the Stim timing (pre-nerf) with zealots, sentries, and stalkers (may have to pull probes), then that's it for Terran. Only way it'd work is if you send in all the SCVs.
7 mins? i think maru didnt wait for stim, concussive shell and shield would do it.
Maru's push came at around 6 minutes without stim. Worst case scenario MC would have to cancel his expansion and FF his ramp, but on a map like Metropolis with a small choke he could actually FF to split the army. Both cases though are doable for the Protoss though. Without stim the DPS isn't all that scary. |
