| Sick event, awesome player lineup! Also, the caster picks are pretty solid. There should be something for every type. |

Indeed. Hojoon was on the fence about where he wanted his focus to be, but after sometime to think about things he decided he wanted to play Code - A qualifiers. Performing well in a Korean league is really important to him, and that's a goal we'd like to help facilitate. Marcus was nice enough to volunteer to take his place.
Hmm thorzain going to korea in a bit but NOT competing in the qualifiers? I smell a seed :D
Well, after winning Dreamhack, I'd be surprised if he wasn't given at least an Up and Down seed, if not a Code S seed. Less worthy players have been given that S seed in past seasons. |

I'm sorry but posts like these disturb me. I'm sorry but if you are GIVEN a code S seed, you are probably not worthy. Regardless player skill (beyond the very top) is veeeeerrrry subjective.

The poster just indicated he thought it was likely Thorzain would receive the seed based on past seed choices. Nothing in his post indicates what skill level he puts Thorzain at other then being stronger then some past seed choices.

| I'm loving the player invites, particularly Bomber, Puzzle and Sase... though I suppose it is no surprise that they are inviting Bomber when they sponsor him. |

Sorry for the late response to this thread, Like how a lot of people predicted, Polt withdrew from the Redbull tournament because of the Up & Down scheduling. We apologize to fans (hi fionn!) who was expecting to see Polt at this event; and I hope that next time there won't be any schedule conflicts -sadface-. Would've been awesome to watch Stephano and Polt play again, but I'm sure there'll be a next time~ ^^
I still can't wait to watchhhhh! + Show Spoiler +omgilovepartingretsasestephanoillusion my head is gonna explodeeeee from happiness~! |

glad to see Puma going for code A again. I was sad when I saw the up and down matches were at the same time. I really hope he makes it through this time. he is definitely good enough to.
and good guy thorzain gets to play in a kick ass tournament now too :D |

LastShadow's hardly a local American
On that note, I'm anxious to see how he performs. I don't expect him to beat Parting in TvP, but I'd like to see if he can pull off some wins against any of the other players who are more established in the SC2 scene (especially the Koreans). Here's his chance to gain some popularity for those who don't really know him- to really put his name on the map. I don't think he's done much tournament-wise... only been performing well on the Korean ladder afaik.
Good luck to him and everyone else! (Especially MC and Sheth!) |

| Puzzle, Bomber, and MC are all in the Up&Down Matches next week. Hopefully, they'll be drawn in group A (Monday) or B (Tuesday) so they'll have enough time to get to Austin comfortably. |

| Even if LastShadow goes 0-3 it doesn't prove anything. That's a FUCKING hard group and there isn't a single player in the world right now who wouldn't have at least some difficulty against Ret, Puzzle and PartinG, particularly a Terran. |

Yeah poor MC got completely screwed. Maybe GOMTV will arrange something? Probably too late now though.

LS, Good luck @ this event man. Your mindset and attitude towards SC2 is something Idra should try and copy. I've caught your stream twice and came away quite impressed. I'll be drinking a Chimay while you play your games. Good luck and I hope you can show the haters here what hard work, dedication, and a solid mindset can do in SC2.
Cheers and kick major ASS! |
