| If anything WotA will be even stronger on Ryze. Also, new meta w/ ryze, rather than Bveil+frozheart, it could be super glasscannon ryze w/ GA instead now. |

| So i need some help on picking up a solid allround top champ for ranked. I pretty much own all top champs but can't really settle on one that is a strong allrounder. Prenerf it used to be iriela, do you guys think the buff's will make her strong enough again? I already tried Kennen, Rumble, Olaf, Warwick, Udyr but none of them work out for me :/ Was thinking maybe Vlad or Swain, do they get counterd really hard by anything? Also who absolutely shits all over Teemo? Seriously, fuck Teemo! |

Yorick shits on Teemo and I regulary beat Teemo with Jarvan

For Ryze early game shouldn't change much. Double catalysts seems like it'd become a thing though since RoA is now so good on Ryze. Looking at items,
Out of the old standard of having
Mercury's treads
Banshees
Frozen heart
Wota
Archangels
Rylais
I think you can now replace the rylais with a RoA since Ryze's ultimate now gives movespeed. Everything else should be pretty similar. The missile speed increase on his skills is nice but where I think it'll help the most is his E. It'll actually hurt and do damage now, if you get it to bounce between two targets, those two targets are taking serious damage at an insane speed..
Other than that, Sivir looks like she'll need a look into since her early game domination with a soraka + Sivir + dorans blade and a +20ish AD rune page will be even scarier.
I like the kog nerf since it'll mean if you get caught in ooze you're less likely to go from 100-20 at levels 9-13.
Annie might come back into popularity and levelling her E might become necessary. I know most people prefer to to go QWQWQRQEQ but having the skill to stack stun up fast might make the difference in a level 6 fight, even more so than the extra point in W.
DFG is going to see far more use now with 750 range. Leblanc/Veigar are going to be beastly in lane since DFG gives even more AP than before. They'll get one chance to full combo you since they have much less mana regen but that one chance is going to succeed far more often than before.
Most people saw the WotA nerf incoming since double WotA was just so strong. It'll still be good but that extra 400 gold means that melee top laners are going to have a much easier time against vlad/kennen since after they get their WotA they're pretty impossible to kill in lane unless you can 100-0 them.Last edit: 2012-05-01 15:51:28 |

| Funny thing is noone is mentioning the animation changes, which can potentially be the most important change. If ryze doesn't have to stand still to cast his shit, expect a hotfix. |

Yorick is only boring when you just spam ghouls from a distance, if you run into a teamfight and hit people in the face its awesome

For new players I think it's a blessing. Letting them not have to deal with the scum and villiany that is the first 10-20 levels is a good option for them and when they do figure it out hopefully they'll be able to handle what comes. People like us/anyone who's played the game long enough will just turn it back on and continue as normal.
So in short overall good change for /all chat banters. |

Annie buffs make me extremely happy. She's one of the AP champs I play the most. There's no way this will push her over the edge suddenly, but it makes E slightly more attractive to level up and use especially for stacking a stun charge w/ its shorter cd and reduced mana cost. Might even be able to make small burst trades w/ the buff to mr/armor it got.
Also time to bust out some more mummie in the jungle. |

I thought supports were weaker because they got no gold? why does Riot need to make supports actual weaker champions too? I miss the days when my Sona was actually capable of soloing an AD at lvl 1.  |

Yeah heal nerf is pretty huge. Seems like it's back to crap like before it's lategame scaling abilities. Now it not only doesn't scale as well lategame, but it's not as good early game. definitely back to ghost flash/flash exhaust on AD carries.
Annie buffs are sweet though. |

I think for lots of ADs they'll be more likely to run Exhaust or Ignite. Exhaust if you don't expect to get kills in lane 'cause it's more useful late game, ignite if you are playing a more aggressive bot lane or you're against like Soraka or something.
I dunno, we might see more Ghost/Flash on ADs but I feel like supports will probably run CV/Flash always now so if you want to go for kills in bot lane Exhaust or Ignite gonna be better than Ghost. I could see ADs like Kog'Maw or Ashe run Ghost/Flash again since they lack other escapes and because Ghost is so good on Ashe.
